Mixed experience
Mixed experience. This was my first time using Usenet, and I was glad to find a provider with such long retention. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get what I was actually looking for to work.
Something odd was going on with the payment page. The cancel link didn’t actually go anywhere, so I had to contact customer support just to cancel my subscription. That was pretty inconvenient, and I have no idea why the link was broken. I tried two different browsers and my phone with the same result.
Since they advertise a “30-day refund, no questions asked,” I figured I’d try that, but they refused and said my plan wasn’t eligible. That’s strange, because their website doesn’t say the refund is restricted to certain plans. They also claimed I had used the service too much (even though I only actively used it for 3 days), which kind of defeats the whole “no questions asked” idea. They should really fix that.
To be fair, I did download a lot of data in the few days I used it, so I can’t completely say I wasn’t satisfied with the service itself. Still, not being able to cancel your own subscription is a pretty big inconvenience and something they should address. And don't make up random terms on the spot.
TLDR: Don't put any value in their "30-day money-back guarantee". They'll make up never before mentioned conditions just to not have to honor it. (ie. "Doesn't apply to monthly subscriptions" "You've used too much data already"). If you are not going to abide by it, then don’t offer it.
