Very welcoming and helpful Team

Very welcoming and helpful. The chap on duty was such a nice, caring person and showed me what I needed plus explained I could book times for some tuition etc. Lovely and clean Gym, altogether a very good visit. The 24 hours is such a good idea allowing flexibility in such busy lives.

joke of a company

joke of a company, cant get hold of them other than an email and socila media. Tried the email and been a week and not had a reply. Got some lady on the social media chat and just no resolve! I have the Plus membership which gives you access to most of their gyms. I have been using a new gym that is closer to me, it wont let me change my home gym to this gym. After months of using it they have now come to me and told me its not included. I am baffeled as not only have I had almost a year use of it its half the size with half the equipment and rooms and they trying to tell me it costs more so I cant have access, after almost a year of using it as part of the PLUS plan. Absolute shark of a company and customer service is a joke! THE GYM or another gym here I come!

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this. Mulit-gym access is based on the plus membership you select and some gyms may no longer be included in your access list due to a number of reasons. Gym prices do vary from gym to gym for various reasons which also include rent, location, landlords, facilities, staff and more.

Members are able to make changes via their members area online, however sometimes there can be factors that prevent this. Please visit our Help Centre here: https://www.puregym.com/help-centre/ for more information on this.

Please can you expand on the issues that you have encountered with our Member Services team so they can investigate this matter in full and assist with this.

We’re afraid it's true, our gyms simply are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym. Temperatures/air con in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Decent gym but the elliptical on the…

Decent gym but the elliptical on the far left is broken and makes a clacking noise and on the far right is off balance so when you go faster it wobbles. The elliptical next to the one on the far right also makes a clacking noise which is annoying. Because there are only 4 elliptical it means only of of them is working properly.

We would like to assure you that we are reviewing feedback and will ensure this is addressed in club.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible.

Quality gym

Quality gym and great set up but still room for a few easy improvements. Could use some more mirrors in the heavy weight section. Also to lower the weight rack which when sitting down blocks the view of the mirror (and I’m tall). Lots more clocks all around the gym would be great too, to time rest in between sets. I always say you should be able to see a clock from any piece of equipment.

Just the basics

Overall not the worst and not the best.

Not particularly a welcoming atmosphere but they have most of the equipment a standard gym has.

They do need a punch bag / boxing equipment as that’s an important part of any gym experience.

Saying that, overall it’s still value for money.

Pretty decent equipment but generally cold inside (at least at the moment).

Pretty decent equipment. Friendly staff. Good location. Free parking. Generally pretty cold inside due to the fact that the door is often open and it has really high ceilings. Really well-priced for short stint back in the UK.

Nice gym poor signage to warn of changed conditions.

Gym facilities had everything i needed. Though there was a 4 meter by 5 meter soggy wet patch of urine on the floor that smelt and the area was not marked off. I put my towel down next to the cables in the area and my gym towel was stinking of pee, as well as my sports top i was carrying as i put my soon to be discovered soaked towel on top of it. Some signage could of been helpful.

well no one was there when I went in to…

well no one was there when I went in to try to look around; gym was unmanned. Which as a personal trainer myself I do feel is unsafe. If anyone were to have an accident - which does happen, ive seen it, there would be trouble.
I wouldn't pay a joining fee for the reason no one was there I managed to take a leaflet and sign up myself at home- so what would the fee be for? I did it myself. I have only joined because of the half price, no joining fee offer.

Our Gym's are staffed throughout the day, commonly from 8am - 8pm.

In unstaffed hours, we still have 24/7 CCTV Team's so please be assured the gym is safe. The emergency points within the gym connect you directly to the CCTV Team who will assist.

Joining fees are applied to cover the initial administration costs associated with setting up a new membership and direct debit agreement and entitle the member to an induction session, bookable online.

As you mentioned, we run promotions regularly online which can remove this, and reduce your first monthly payment like the savehalf offer used.

We hope this clears up any confusion and look forward to seeing you in the gym soon.

Very straight forward process

It was very easy, welcoming and included great benefits. Although the price has gone up since i last had a membership I was still satisfied with what i was getting.
