I have contacted the support team via email having lost connectivity with my equipment. I explained the issue and Jack McMullen responded within few ours with the technical guidance and got my system working again within minutes.

Well done Puredrive
I had a battery that wasn't posible to sell back to the grid when the battery was full
But when Puredrive became a Duracell licensee Will upgraded me from the Puredrive app to the Duracell app which allowed me to sell back to the grid when the price was higher. So far this month the Electricity company owes me £17.00
I'm really pleased with Puredrive as they have looked after legacy customers and I suggest that if you have a Puredrive battery to see if you can be converted to the Duracell app

Getting past bots and AI is rhe usual problem, but get to a support tech and you get great support
My 3rd round of technical support from PureDrive, where others and all the standards on-line AI, YouTube films and bots failed, to sort out the problems with storage batteries, tech support by Charlie Shakespeare, took a few rounds, but got there.

Improved customer service
Update 18 Apr 2026.
Thanks to Duracell who have moved me over to their app from the Puredrive version. Seems to work well and scheduled charge happened to plan.
I bought a solar panel and puredrive battery system from so energy. I wish I hadn't as the app which is meant to control the system is very basic and now the scheduled charge timer for the battery doesn't work at all. Despite numerous emails requesting help, nobody is responding. Abysmal customer service and at a time when the country needs us to be able to schedule charges to use excess generation.

Customer service doesn't exist.
Customer service appears to have disappeared. Tried multiple times through email, phone calls, to speak with someone or get a reply. No response. Even the phone just asks to leave a message. The app hasn't worked properly since the clocks have gone forward. Schedule charging is an hour out. The monitor readings are completely wrong. Multiple people on the Puredrive owner forum having the same issue and no one can get a reply. Doesn't install much confidence knowing that I have another 10+ years with this battery.
*Update*
Since leaving this review I had since been moved onto the new Duracell app which appears to be working correctly and aware other customers have also been moved. I haven't needed to call customer service since so not sure if you can get an answer yet, but it was explained that they were going through some adjustments with customer service, so hopefully it has improved. Email communication speed has improved with Charlie Shakespeare quick to reply and very helpful.

My 10kw battery stopped working early…
My 10kw battery stopped working early February 2026. It's now early April and issues still not fixed despite two long site visits.
I find trying to talk to anyone at Pur Drive virtually impossible. My calls are not returned and emails ignored.
After many weeks of not working the battery will accept a charge from my solar panels but not from the grid. I am unable to schedule a cheap rate, overnight charge as the schedule page keeps wiping out my timings!
Absolute pain. Have left your messages today and an email but no response.
Awful customer service.

What’s happened to customer service? Where’s Marc? Historically really good but this time absolute rubbish. Emailed 3 times, spoke to a hopeless bot, called twice. Left a couple of messages.signed up to Dura-I, no help, read FAQ’s to help solve it. Nothing. Come on, sort it out.

6 month review of system doesn't happen.
At twelve months an email was sent "your system is ok" call that a review?
Doesn't charge when you schedule,sends back to grid when it wants. App keeps having a fault and won't connect. Batteries outside don't last 24 hrs (13.6kwh) .
Wish I had gone with a different company.
UPDATE 30/03/26 :DIDN'T CHARGE AT ALL OVERNIGHT,SAME SCHEDULE JUST NOT CHARGING THIS IS A REPEAT ERROR! DAYS AFTER THEY TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH SYSTEM!!

Has not started the scheduled charge yet again ,Friday it did not start the charge on time also.

I had an issue with my batteries not charging to 100% after new firmware was installed on my Solis inverter. Tyla emailed Solis, the settings were changed and everything was sorted. Thank you.

Solar NRG Newtownards installed 2 new…
Solar NRG Newtownards installed 2 new Puredrive storage batteries for me November 2022. They worked until September 2025 and then one stopped and died completely. Should be 5 years warranty, I have phoned numerous times to no avail. Very disappointed with Puredrive and NRG. Still no resolution to date.

Recently had a visit from puredrive. Brandon, the lad who visited, was very polite and helpful with explaining in detail everything I didn’t quite understand. Job was done to its best standard and I’m very happy with the professionalism and how quick the issue was resolved.

Katie organised a service call for today to deal with a battery issue. Brandon and Harry knew exactly what they were doing and sorted out the issue very quickly, including replacing a dead battery. They were both very polite and professional. They also pandered to my nosey nature about all things technical and were happy to explain what the issue was and how they fixed it.
