I have waited over 2 weeks for my parcel to arrive, contacted customer services 3 times and I was told there was a problem DHL. Its finally arrived today after paying 1-2 day delivery £5.99 and the box is damaged and pasta has come out in the box! I will not be ordering from them again which is a shame as the products are really good.

Love their products but every single time I order with them I pay £4.99 for “express” delivery which NEVER seems to be the case. Each order (about 4 now) has to be chased about a week later to see where it is. Also conveniently each request for a refund on the delivery costs is also somewhat ignored. It’s a shame as I do really enjoy their products but the delivery makes me question why I bother.

Shocking!! I ordered last week for a birthday gift… 1-2 day delivery! Still no order!! I ended up buying another gift from myprotein who delivered my order next day!! I want a full refund!

I’ve made several orders with PW over the years, always loved their products however this time around has been really bad.

Like most reviews on here from the last couple of months, it’s taken over a week for my order to ship. And they charged me £5 for 1-2 day delivery. I requested a refund for the delivery fee, as the timeframe was clearly missed, however the person who responded to my email enquiring about my order decided to completely ignore my request. Charming.

I will be steering well clear of PW until this mess is sorted.

After years of using this company all of a sudden they cannot ship a simple fat metabolizer bottle. I’ve ordered once a month for the past four months and now the delivery has just stop. I emailed them after a week after the product was ordering and still no delivery and a guy named Charles responded saying they were incredibly backed up. Another week went by and I wrote the email and have not heard a response. So almost a week ago I ordered the same order but use a different shipping address and another week later it still has not come. Something is massively wrong at Protein World and I now highly recommend no one buying anything from them until there’s a huge turn around from the company. Great product but company has gone dark now which is a huge red flag.

Bought a bag of the cookies and cream slender blend and it tasted of off coffee. Complained to the company and was told I had to send a picture of the packet for further investigation. I no longer had the packet as I put it in the bin when I transferred the powder to a tub as the bags it arrives in do not reseal properly.
When I couldn’t supply a picture there was apparently nothing they could do even though they have my order number and can see the product had been delivered.

Do not buy if you want good customer service.

Bought 20 protein bars and they arrived but only had two weeks before the expiry date. Complained a week ago and no response. Complained again four days ago and no response.

I run my own protein subscription box service and would never think of sending a person anything with an expiry date that close! They clearly bought too much stock and had a sale to get rid of it before it went out of stock.

I wanted to give them a bad review on Google but surprise surprise, they don't have a Google account. So I went to leave them a review on Facebook and they have reviews switched off. I wonder why 👀

Absolutely appalled by my last order, included 2 boxes of protein flapjacks, when received they were visibly mouldy!! I had to chase up my order as they are usually prompt, but this took over a week to receive. I've emailed them and their response if the goods not being "perfect" only irritated me more. They have not taken this matter seriously at all and now I see further reviews about rancid goods like this from a year ago as well... so they've learned nothing... they've offered to replace the goods, but due to the inadequacy of their customer service, I think these are more flapjacks... even though I've told them I never ever want to eat their flapjacks again after this experience... I opened them and they stank of mould, I had wondered why I was not well prior!! These goods made me ill and I barely even got an apology! I used to be a big advocate for them... not anymore!! Such a shame!!!!!

I would give no stars if allowed. I have been waiting 10 days for my parcel to be delived. Customer service appauling!! Will not order again from this company

Got the porridge from them, it’s ok but well over hyped and really expensive for what it is. The real issue is the customer service, absolutely no communication whatsoever regarding my order not being in stock, wouldn’t have heard anything and probably wouldn’t have got my order if I hadn’t pestered them.
Don’t recommend and won’t be buying from them again.

Terrible Vegan Protein Powder.
Their Vegan Vanilla flavored whey protein legitimately has made me nearly puke on multiple occasions on account of A. The texture (not properly dissolved at all) B. The flavor (the most disgusting flavor of whey protein I think to ever exist) and C. Refer to A and B. It is absolutely disgusting and me and my entire digestive system are legitimately offended, I feel awful right now because of having it, and I don't think anyone should ever get protein from here.
Joke of a company.

I made a big order of over £100 while I was at my parents house in Wales. There has been a very extended delay and the order hasn't been shipped out, so I contacted them to have the delivery address changed as I have since returned to London.
I didn't receive a single response.
I then emailed several times to cancel the order and have a refund- also no responses.
I then contacted them on Facebook, no-one has even bothered to read the message.
I've now gone through Paypal and will escalate it to a dispute if they continue to ignore me.

Normally an extremely good company! They always met their delivery dates etc and sell a great range of products in many, many flavours BUT unfortunately this time they have been disappointing and let me down. I placed an order 7 days ago (over £70 worth) and it STILL has not been dispatched despite stating they deliver within 2 days. Emailed them and they state they are having delays on ‘some’ orders.
Feel really let down, lack of communication from the company and still without goods. Feel like it’s also going to be a struggle to get a refund as they are SO slow in replying too.

“Had” a subscription but cancelled it after a few months. The porridge is actually really nice. Chocolate is my favourite but the vanilla one is nice too. The Speculoous flavour is just bland with little taste.

The mug cakes are nice. Every flavour I’ve had tastes great with the Jammy biscuit being the best.

Customer service however is horrific. The website says they send out deliveries the next day (they don’t). They take ages to respond and blame it on “busy times”. It’s just not worth it.

I noticed at checkout on my last 2 orders there was only one delivery option available.

When I reached out to Protein World, they would not confirm why or for how long it would be this way.

How can you only have one delivery option in this day and age.

It's very tempting to cancel my subscription to avoid paying what seems to be there most expensive delivery option.

very very misleading. becare when purchasing. i thought i was getting a month supply, but after reading through these comments i thought i would check mine.. nooo only 1kg bag was sent out. so its only 2 weeks for £34.99. Shocking.. I was going to recommend to my sister an mum as the chocolate tastes lovely, but i feel like iv been ripped off. Would never purchase again.

The first time I tried to place an order, nothing happened for a couple of weeks. After reaching out to customer service, they could inform me that something had gone wrong in the order process, so the order was completed but never shipped. They offered to place the order again on my behalf, which was all well and fine. I waited again - nothing happened. Same error, and customer service placed the order for me again. Third time was apparently not a charm, because the same error happened AGAIN. Three attempts, still nothing has been shipped. I can understand something going wrong occasionally, but three times? I’m amazed at how this company can survive if it fails this many times to ship an order.

Used protein worlds Slender Blend vanilla powder in the past and loved it. Ordered the 1.6kg bag of Vanilla flavour direct from them and when it arrived it, it had “vanilla ice cream” flavour on the bag. Tried it and it’s vile. No hint of vanilla flavour AT ALL. The only flavour I imagine it to be is cardboard or sawdust flavoured. It doesn’t mix at all so it’s very grainy. Couldn’t even have a second sip. Emailed them and got a response saying it’s the same as Vanilla? If that’s the case then why is there the option to choose Vanilla flavour or Vanilla ice cream flavour? Confused isn’t the word. Spent £40 on a massive bag that’s going to just sit there. Or go in the bin more likely. The customer service replies are going nowhere. I’ve been asked to send a pic of the BBE date and batch number twice now. Both times I’ve sent a clear picture of it. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. The product is completely unusable. I don’t understand how this passed quality control and made it to sale. Will have to find another brand that sells a powder that tastes like the flavour it’s advertising. All I can say is be very wary when ordering.
