Got a call this morning from an agent who said that his company was covering my machine.. was little surprised but happy to know my machine was covered because it was throwing up glitches.. even though he was not able to provide date of when the purchase cover began, I accepted offer for cover for further 2 years.. a good deal .. £15 per month for 2 kitchen items... gave up bank details... then googled reviews - found this site (thank you) and so tried to phone the number provided .. repairs and discuss your accounts.. no answer... so have phoned the bank who will block the attempt to set up the direct debit. for some reason bank does not offer notification if direct debit is set up on account.
So will have to check every month for years to check they have not set up Direct Debit I suppose

Tried to make contact with Company House about this issue.. but found Company House does not seem to answer the phone either
A month later they have taken money out of my account - have had to phone the bank to cancel the direct debit - of course igloo not answering the phone - the banks of the world just letting them

I have a fault with my Bosh washing machine.

Scam artists made out they already covered my machines on phone but had change their phone number and are now taking £100 per month out my bank for washing machine cover what a joke avoid at all costs and phone trading standards
Spoke to Jackson to day what a star he is brand new washing machine getting delivered Friday would recommend any one to use these for your appliances
My washing machine broke down, I phoned Igloo direct Ltd and explained the problem with my machine. Mr Jackson was very helpful, my machine was no longer being made and he arranged a like for like machine that will be delivered and fitted and my old machine taken away in a few days time. Mr Jackson was very helpful and polite. I will definitely recommend this insurance company.
Scammers - conned my husband out of 66GBP when the appliances were already insured with Domestic & General. They pretend they need your details to make the payments that are missing.

Scammed my elderly father for £83 a month until I found out, whilst he was hospital bound. He was paying £5 to cover 2 hire appliances with another company and this lot of scammers managed to find out and get his bank details over a phone call. I can’t wait to find the person responsible for it

The team at Igloo are amazing. Really friendly and efficient. I got a few of my appliances with them and I know I will be looked after if any thing was to go wrong.
Total Scammers. Tried to get my bank details out of me so they could change my white good insurance policy over to them. Told me they were just extending to cover for no additional cost and just needed to check my bank details were correct for the DD.
Today I discovered that this company (Igloo Direct - aka - Protectyourigloo - (provide national coverage for all home cinema and white good repairs as well as protection packages) - has taken funds of my bank account three times the same amount in September 2024! I don't even have any business with them ! There is No way to call them- they never pick up! NO email. And telephoning them just now (17:38) it said they are out of hours for today although the automated information says availability till 7pm !
My Bank told me they can not do anything as this is a direct debit - ?? I cancelled it right away - but I did not install it in the first place!
This company is a scam or is hacked ! Check all your bank accounts as soon as possible !!!

Was rung by a salesperson who told me that he
was ringing on behalf of a company that i already
dealt with saying that my warranty was being extended
while in reality he was changing my details over to
igloo who then proceeded to set up a new direct debit
this is a total scam company & i would warn anybody
who is contacted by them to be very careful they are very clever in they way they present themselves
BUT THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS BEWARE

Cold call telling me that my TV Insurance had expired. S'funny that as there's no TV on the premises and we wouldn't insure one anyway - certainly not at the discounted 'renewal' price quoted anyway. You can buy a brand new TV and still have change for their price. Still the Goon pressed on making call upon call to me saying that my Card and Bank Details were wrong. Of course they were wrong - I made them up. In the end I told the scammer to 'just bugger off' and he then lectured me on not being rude. So I just buggered off instead.
