I receive my tax summary from Proplend showing gross interest. This is incorrect in my opinion. Every other P2P lender provides a statement showing net interest. In effect by using the Proplend figure... See more

I've invested on Proplend for about a year. The best thing is obviously the interest rates of the junior tranches, which are hard to beat in the UK market.
On the downside, the platform is high maintenance. As only the senior tranches are available through auto-invest, you need to log in at precisely the right time when the deal goes live in order to get in on the junior tranches, as they fill up very quickly. This is all driven by a rather slow deal flow, which also leads to cash drag. The secondary market helps but, again, the occasional secondary loan part is quickly bought up and you need to check regularly to get in on any of these.
None of my loans have gone bad, so I can't comment on the recovery process.
All in all I like Proplend. The structuring of P2P debt into tranches is a useful innovation in this space. The site is clean and professional. I hope the deal flow picks up in the future.

I've been a Proplender nearly 18mths and still extremely happy (a bit richer too) with the service. LOVE the liquidity and diversification available with the loan exchange. One improvement needed is the introduction of a debit payment facility to enable immediate purchase of loans. The secondary loan exchange is very popular with loans often snapped up in minutes or even seconds.
P2P has seen well known platforms leave the industry of late. Proplend is fully compliant with the revised industry regulation which has instilled further confidence in the company. Have upped my investment with the aim of doubling it by year end 2020.

A wide choice of investment opportunities, and you choose the risk level.
There are frequent updates to lenders, which are informative and reassuring
On the rare occasions when I have wanted specific information the Proplend team has responded within 24 hours

Good lender information and we have experienced a reasonable record on bad debts. We think the tranche A auto invest works well and it should be considered extending to tranche B loans.

Best peer to peer experience that i have. Am still concerned about overvaluation of properties in general in the peer to peer space, but less so with Proplend than others.

I've invested in seven P2P platforms.... Proplend is the only one that delivers consistently. I simply can't praise them enough. Funny, but I always enjoy logging in! My other (big name) platforms have done badly.... one has dropped from delivering 5.7 per cent approx to a consistent 4 per cent (many will know who I'm talking about). Two others have had similar performance plunges, and one never achieved anything like it's projected return in the first place. It's wise to spread your eggs over many baskets, so the search is on for another platform that can match Proplend. Here's hoping.

Seems like a well run setup on the whole.

An excellent and reliable platform, highly recommended. The one difficulty for some is you have to be able to access a computer at midday during the week to get the higher rates. However, these are less secure and auto invest invests in the ‘a’ rated investments for you. A good platform to use along with others to spread your investments.

Proplend is easy to understand and intuitive to manage from beginning to end. Great rates, isa wrapping and very good track record.

I tend to hold off reviewing P2P platforms until I have gone through a full cycle with at least 3 or 4 investments.
I've gone through many more than 3 or 4 cycles (started investing 18 months ago) with Proplend and very happy to give them a 5 star review.
A big test for a P2P platform is how they cope when things don't go exactly to plan eg when loans default, when regulation changes etc etc. Proplend have responded to every unforseen situation excellently. Their communication has been excellent and I've felt like my money has been in safe hands throughout.
I hope that continues, the signs are good.

The autolend option enables a good spread of relatively low risk investments without effort.

Have been investing for about a year and excellent experience to date. Very responsive to email responses and, while only limited lending opportunities are available, they are varied and interesting enough to interest me in investing in them.

Best kept secret in P2P lending so don't tell anyone else. It's got it all except an even fatter pipeline of quality loans. Every loan can be invested in at a max 50% LTV if you wish. An interest reserve is withheld from the borrower in case there are issues with the monthly interest payments. The investor's interests are put firmly before the borrower's for unpaid or late loans, response is immediate. Very high liquidity on the secondary exchange in case you need to sell out quickly, 0.5% fee.

I am mainly a Tranche A investor though the auto invest feature. I think the risk/return ration in Tranche A is excellent. I like the flexibility of being able to pick and choose the loans I take part in and I only turn Auto invest on when something is coming up which I like. The platform seems to work very efficiently and I am very happy with the returns on my investments.

Great platform. Does what it says. Executes really well and gives a great return - in fact better than what they say!!
