Engaged Property Lions (Will Tong)…

Engaged Property Lions (Will Tong) under a buyer’s agency agreement, relying on the “best endeavours” commitment as a key reason for proceeding.

During the engagement, only one opportunity was presented that fell within the agreed scope. After that, communication dropped off completely. We did not receive any meaningful updates for approximately 6 months.

After this period, we received an email introducing a new team member to take over the file. By that stage, we had already lost confidence in the process and requested that Will Tong contact us directly, which did not occur.

We then sought a refund, as the expectations under the agreement — particularly around best endeavours and ongoing engagement — were not met. Despite this, we did not receive any response to our emails, phone calls or messages.

This matter has since been escalated to NSW Fair Trading, and we are proceeding with further action.

Based on our experience, we would strongly recommend caution and ensuring clear accountability before engaging.
