We hold stocks of plasterboard as well as plaster and render. Stocking InteX tools enables tradesmen to pick up any new equipment at the same time as they get the items they need for work.

Delivery Charges
Delivery Charges - your haulier was asking for £100 for shipping to the Shetlands it cost £30, would have happily paid £50. Opportunism at its worst. Haven't used the product yet but know from others that it is good, everyone at the store was helpful but the attempted delivery charge left a very bad taste. As a result I would be unlikely to recommend you to others. You cant advertise free UK delivery and then make delivery charges to UK residents. The website promoted additional sales so that I could qualify for free delivery (orders over £130) i added more items only to be asked for the same again in delivery charges - Its not right!

I am sorry you aren’t happy with the service we have provided. Just to point out a few things to people who read this. You did indeed place an order with us on 27th Feb at 10.01, at 10.35 you then sent us an email threatening to report us to trading standards for ‘leaving out important information’ about shipping. After you had placed the order!
Rather than replying to the email where meanings can be misunderstood the manager of Profilestore called you and a conversation was had about shipping, to be honest we thought it had reached an amicable agreement. You were pointed to a section on our website containing information about shipping to Scotland. Here is part of the text from it:
'If you live in Scotland, please consider the cost and delivery time before placing an order. We realise costs are high and delivery is not next day but we are powerless to change that, the combination of difficult to ship freight over a large distance is something that a lot of couriers do not want to deal with. However, if you feel strongly enough about it then please email Tuffnells, our courier: customerrelations@tuffnells.co.uk and let us know if you get a reply. '
You did explain that you had to change the delivery address away from Shetland Islands because of the costs and you were shipping to a forwarder in Aberdeen, because the rates were astronomical (we know and we agreed). We re-iterated what was written above, our goods are over 2.5m in length (some are 5m), very few couriers will deal with the goods and because the distance is over 500 miles, the price is high and we are powerless to change it. We also explained the shipping surcharges to you, again these are also explained on the same part of the website. Nothing is hidden.
We offered to give you a full refund for the order but you stated you understood and you didn’t want a refund. You even stated you would recommend us to other customers!
Then you leave us this one-star review for an order that ultimately if you didn’t want to complete you didn’t have to!
Just to re-iterate, we do not hide any of our shipping fees, you imply in your review that we penalise Scotland when it is part of the UK – we do not. We simply charge what our courier would charge us, we also pay for staff to work in our warehouse, pack the items and we have to buy ever increasing in price packaging materials to ship goods in.
