In general not bad, good speed and reliability with all services except VPN Tor... sometimes quite slow. Ready to try in some more restrictive countries.

Reliable VPN and proxy with excellent Support

Privatoria offers VPN and Proxy-Services both through their own Servers and the TOR network, as well as some other Features such as ftp- and Mail Services and a encrypted messenger.

The Setup process for both the VPN and Proxy do not require properitary Software but are realized by Esther open source Software (OpenVPN) or the built-in Features of the operating System. While this makes the Setup process a little more complicated in comparisim to one-click solutions that come with their own intransparent Software, it is not difficult to Set up either, as there are detailed step by step Setup Manuals for every System. This makes the process not only more transparent, but also saves System Ressources by using the software that is allready running on the machine.

Compared to other Providers, Privatoria has fewer exit Servers to choose from, but concidering that the Service is fairly young and all Servers run stabile without any bottleneck effects, this is not really a Problem. Additionaly, more Servers are being added by Privatoria every now and then, offering the User a wider selection of possible Proxies.

Some great plusses are the possibility to have up to five Devices at once connected via the same Account, no bandwith limitations, generally fast bandwith (not even noticable difference in everyday use), a "no logging" policy which respects the Users anonymity and fast, friendly and skilled Support via direct messages on Facebook.

With all These Features in mind, the pricing of the Service is more than fair and definitely a good Investment, if one requires a solid VPN / proxy Service and isn't scared by the Lack of a one-installer.

I am protected

Being a COO of an IT company it is vital to feel yourself protected while surfing the Web. I am using VPN to secure my personal information and not to get buck-naked. I do travel a lot and have to be constantly logged into work related gateways. Privatoria is my reliable and easy-to-use secure provider

Connection Issues

I tried to ping their U.S. servers, then 100% package loss. My ISP is AT&T. I just bought a 3 years plan. Now I cannot use their services anymore. And Non-refundable.

Updated (Aug 19): I give them another try. I can access their US VPN now. However, they let me down so bad. The speed is horrible, around 200 KB/s. My computer is just 200 mile from their server.

Updated (Sep 2): I just made another test via Google Fiber (1000 Mbps). So I can tell their servers speed limit for sure. The result is so terrible. That is 7-10Mbps. Contact me for a proof.

The US server works perfectly on our side. See this screen-shot https://privatoria.net/img/ping-gateway-us.png The issue described below could be caused by the customer's ISP. We will look deeper into this and try to find a solution to your problem. Please be patient.

Updated (Sep 2):
Dear user,
We are concerned about your dissatisfaction. But US server is stable and provides an acceptable speed for online surfing. VPN speed can not be the same as via cable, as traffic is encrypted, which affects the speed falling.
