COMPLETELY IGNORED BY PRINCESS

I emailed Princess prior to Christmas to obtain medical information from an event onboard Sapphire Princess in July 2025. I was informed to complete a POST DISEMBARKATION FORM in order to obtain the needed medical information to appeal denial by our insurance carrier which was submitted prior to Christmas. I called Tuesday, January 6th, and Customer Service Rep told me (parapharsing) " You will get the information when you get it". I emailed Mr. Mario Siebeli, VP of Guest Relations on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 and NO RESPONSE to me email. I tried emailing Mr. Gus Antorcha (President of Princess) today (January 9, 2026) and he must either have a different email format or blocked my email.
We are up against a HARD STOP to appeal the medical insurance denial. Princess just doesn't seem to care about loyal customers.

I really have to reconsider sailing with Princess in the future.

We had a great cruise on the Caribbean Princess, this was for the first two weeks of December 2025. The crew were brilliant, the food was good, not sure if the ship was fully booked as there was always sunloungers available, the only reason that I didn't give 5 stars was, we were given a complementary meal in one of the specialist restaurants, despite have a zero balance on our bill, we arrived home to find that we had been charged £144, when we contacted Princess they refunded the money, they said that it was a goodwill gesture, which is strange as they stole the money from us in the first place

Princess Cruise LIne hoax

I booked a cruise with Princess Cruises for Mexico Rivera and paid in full on November 21, 2025 for sailing Feb 7-Feb 14 2026. Today; I received a phone call from Princess Cruise that I was not qualify for the promotion they provided (this was the first time I heard of the issue). They offered me a lower category (inside cabin instead of balcony that I originally booked). I said this was un-acceptable; Princess Cruise charged me in full in Nov 2025 without any issue. Now one month from embarkation date they wanted to take it away from me. Can someone tell me if this is legally done by Princess Cruise Line?

Horrible!!’ Stay far away!!

Horrible!!’ Stay far away!!! The security officer threatened my daughter and the cruise line covered up the report. We made a claim on line and the head of relations lied and said they did a report. This is a horrible cruise line and customer relations is the worst. The customer service rep Kathleen said that she has no supervisor and that here is nobody else to assist. Horrible cruise like and horrible customer service.

Disappointed

This review reflects our broader recent experiences with Princess Cruises as a company, encompassing onboard execution of the Princess Premier package, the Medallion app, and especially post-booking customer service. My husband and I have always held Princess Cruises in high regard—we once called it the gold standard and eagerly recommended it to friends and family. That’s why we booked two upcoming sailings with confidence: a 14-day Mediterranean cruise for summer 2026 (paid in full early) and a last-minute cruise in December 2025, for which we purchased the Princess Premier package.Regrettably, these recent experiences have significantly eroded our trust in the brand.Princess Premier Package – Not Worth the Upgrade
We expected a noticeably elevated experience. What we received fell far short: Alcoholic beverages in the “unlimited” package were frequently watered down.
Non-alcoholic drinks were restricted to fountain service only—no canned or bottled sodas.
We were promised three professional photo prints per person (six total). My husband received only two.
Priority theater seating, a heavily advertised perk, was never implemented—no reserved sections and no crew directing Premier guests.

Medallion App – Frustrating and Unfinished
The app, intended to enhance the cruise, became a constant source of irritation: Navigation was confusing and unintuitive; we repeatedly saw groups of passengers gathered, trying to help each other locate basic features.
Services advertised as “included” with Premier still displayed prices in the app, making us reluctant to order what we had already paid for.
Food and drink orders placed via the app took excessively long to arrive, and the crew member who delivered was never the same person who took the order—making proper tipping impossible.
Photo viewing and purchasing remained limited to physical kiosks, resulting in chaotic overcrowding on the final night. Full in-app functionality would have solved this easily.

Customer Service & Price Protection – The Biggest Disappointment
The most disheartening part has been the handling of our paid-in-full Mediterranean booking. Shortly after the December cruise, we noticed the identical itinerary and cabin category was now priced approximately $2,000 lower.Over at least five phone calls, we attempted to invoke Princess’s “Better Than Best Price Guarantee” and simultaneously upgrade to a mini-suite (which would more than offset any price adjustment). We encountered: Wildly inconsistent information from different representatives.
Partial progress halted because we had booked airfare through Princess, requiring separate approvals and leading to endless busy signals.
On our latest call (January 6, 2026), supervisor Ashley came on the line after a long wait, said she would research the possibility, and then the call abruptly disconnected with no follow-up.

Paying the cruise in full early—done responsibly and in good faith—now feels like a punishment, as it appears to limit options that might be available to guests who haven’t yet paid. This has been, hands down, the worst customer service experience we have ever had in decades of travel.Princess Cruises has unfortunately lost the guest-focused care and consistency that once made it stand out. We can no longer recommend the line with the enthusiasm we once did and are actively looking at other cruise lines for future vacations.

Worst Cruise

The ship we were on is called the Sun Cruises. I have been on many other ships before, but the service on this one was absolutely terrible. There is nothing to keep people entertained. The captain does not look the way a captain should; even at the Captain’s Party, he showed up in a wrinkled shirt, rumpled pants, and worn-out shoes. There is no dedicated lounge for special events; the meeting took place in an area split by a pool. The ship’s layout is very inconvenient—to get anywhere, you constantly have to go around obstacles. No show on the ship which other ships have the while week. I will never go again on this ship.

Princess Majestic New Years 2025…

Princess Majestic New Years 2025 experience at the Crown Grill restaurant.
We are frequent travelers with this cruise ship.
We had a confirmed reservation, yet after waiting, the staff informed us that they could not accommodate us and told us to come back the next day. This was very disrespectful and reflects poor customer service, especially when customers rely on reservations to plan their time. There was no clear explanation and no proper apology. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and unprofessional.
Restaurant Manager Miolus has no control whatsoever in running the restaurant and the hostess Rhona was very much overwhelmed with the amount of people waiting on line to enter.
He even suggested to write a review to cancel the medallion reservations, which works very well.

Be aware

I need to name Yuri S. from Shorex on Princess.  Ukrainian guy.  This man is chasing women on board and he is manipulating with each and every of them every contract. Crew are talking about him as they can see him every contract hand in hand with another women every time.  Imagine these women with their boyfriends in India,  Philippines,  Ukraine,  Thailand,  Italy,  Chile,  South Africa...  His excuse: it is a choice and what happen onboard stays onboard.  I am glad I can inform you on this predator as he broke many hearts of women and used them, and stupid Princess is protecting him just because he is careless with his behaviour.
That is the example of 21 century man.  I know this guy and even saw his pictures online as these women made pictures of him and posted online.  Passengers,  be aware when you are taking papers from his hands as he does not like to wash hands after having s*x with women.  Be aware will you trust this guy when he offers you excursions and smiles to you.
PREDATOR WHO SHOULD LOSE HIS JOB AND GO BACK TO UKRAINE!

DONT EVER GO ON A PRINCESS CRUISE

If I could give a big fat 0, I would. My daughter, her boyfriend and his family were all excited to set sail on a cruise to Mexico on November 23rd. They were not canceling under any circumstances. The family didnt have extra cash lying around to spend on insurance as funds are tight. On November 19th the boyfriend's dad had a massive heart attack. He was hospitalized in critical condition. He passed away on November 26th. To add insult to injury, Princess showed no empathy. They treated my daughter with no compassion when she called to cancel the reservation and seek credit towards another trip. They only offered 50% yet we heard of another circumstance where someone who broke a hip without travel insurance was granted 80% towards another cruise. This was the death of a parent of a cruise participant. So callous and stingy. We will never step foot on a Princess cruise and we are spreading the word to all of our big family and many friends.

no free cruises here

I was "given" a cruise from a local casino Akwesasne's in hogangsberg new york and then a chance at free luggage a few weeks later. I took the free cruise only to have to cancel later and princess cruise lines refunded us a portion of the 750 we had to pay for a free cruise we were given back 170 dollars of the 750 the free cruise cost then 4 weeks later they offered free set of luggage if you earned 75 points we did and we were given 20 dollars free play the casino and the cruise company are running a scam save your money they ripped us off as well as our son and his wife who were refunded 350 dollars why the difference this is simply a scam of some kind by princess and the casino !

A company that is going downmarket and attracting a different clientele to what it used to. Not the once premium cruise line it used to be. Avoid it.

We went on a week long cruise to the Caribbean in Nov ‘26. The people in the room next to use allowed their kids to throw/kick a soccer ball against our adjoining wall night after night. We contacted the on board Guest Services for help but the noise continued for 5 nights. Princess’ response was completely ineffective. Dealing with this for 5 consecutive nights ruined our trip.

DO NOT BOOK A CRUISE WITH ANY SHIP…

DO NOT BOOK A CRUISE WITH ANY SHIP AFFILIATED WITH CARNIVAL CORP IN PARTICULAR PRINCESS CRUISES BEFORE READING THIS.

12 months ago we booked a cruise from Sydney to New Zealand return over Christmas/New Year 2025/2026. We paid for the 'come abroad' promotional package because it included a mini suite and the Premier package. We paid the cruise off over 12 months and each month we paid a payment they would send a booking confirmation stating what we were paying for, mini suite and Premier package.
After the final payment they offered upgrade to a better cabin. I rang them and asked if we upgrade to a better cabin do we keep the Premier package to which they stated of course. We paid more money and went ahead with the upgraded cabin. The next minute we receive a booking confirmation with the upgraded cabin but no Premier package. I have spoken to numerous people at Princess Cruises to find out why this has occurred when we have already paid for the Premier package. There was no refund for the package and no notification that the package would be removed. They now refuse to speak with me and say it is under investigation. Its simply I paid for a service and I want what I paid for. I implore you not to use this company or go through a travel agent so you don't get caught out by these thieves.

Princess Cruises - Needs to review its business Customer service.

Princess Cruises ships and their staff are brilliant; however, the business side of this company is appalling. They never respond to any enquiries or complaints, and this has occurred several times over the last twelve months. I have cruises booked in the next year or two and received emails saying shore excursions were on sale with up to 20% off. Well after booking about 5 excursions not one was discounted and I could not find any that were. I found there advertising was dishonest and deceiving. I first contacted them on their chat and they referred me to an Australian number. I contacted the number and to be honest I don't think she even cared. She showed no interest in assisting me and gave no explanations other than the discount was for only some cruises.

Earlier in the year I contacted the company because they ceased using PayPal for their excursions. She advised they had changed it for security reasons to protect customers and yet I notice you can still pay the Cruise itself via PayPal which is an even larger amount. Again, she showed little interest in my call and told me lies. I find their support staff have no clue of what they are talking about and seem to make it up as they go.

After every cruise I receive a survey from the company to review the ship and its staff. I think it is time to review their business practices. Seriously Princess whilst I have loved the cruises I have been on, I am seriously considering whether to book additional cruises because of the way the business side treats its customers. Extremely disappointed.

Worse customer service experience ever!!!

I am a travel agent which means we partner with princess cruises and bring money to the company. I have never ever had such horrible horrible horrible customer service!!!! The agents were rude!!! Hung up on me for asking questions. I was put on hold for 45 minutes and was on the call for a total of two hours and nothing was accomplished!!! Please pull the call and hold these people accountable, there are too many cruise lines out there to be treated this way

I have the worst experience with their Sydney office, they promised me the world but nothing is delivered. I paid over $20,000 for my Antartic Cruise and just found out that the room I was promised were not allotted. I requested for an explanation but they just ignored me. Don't even bother asking for the manager because they will do anything to stop you from speaking to one. They have just lost a very loyal customer.

Not the Princess Cruises it used to be

Overall we enjoy Princess Cruises, but since we started cruising with them the quality of food had deteriorated and everything seems to be of cheaper quality. You used to be served fresh orange at breakfast now it’s orange flavoured water!!! And if they decide to change itinerary they say it’s not significant so you can’t cancel with a refund of deposit or credit. Customer service is non existent and they are only interested in getting your money. Cruise with them at your own risk!!
