DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! DAMAGED EVERYTHING I OWN!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! DAMAGED EVERYTHING I OWN! HAVEN'T CONTACTED ME SINCE! THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS OR EMAILS!

All items were in PERFECT condition and no notes were written about missing parts or damages. All furniture had just been ordered less than six months prior and was in brand new condition. When received, EVERY SINGLE ITEM was severely damaged or was stained beyond cleaning. Not only was all of my furniture damaged but the delivery guys made me SO uncomfortable to be in a closed apartment with them telling me how sexy I am, asking for my phone number, mentioning how cute my toes are, how much they like my tattoos, kept trying to read them so close to me, how I have a big butt for a white girl, asked what’s my ethnicity... I kept giving one word answers and saying I have a boyfriend but they WOULD NOT STOP. How can a female feel safe spending hours with people like this? I was so uncomfortable the entire time but couldn’t let them leave because none of my furniture had been unwrapped or put together yet (and wouldn’t be, because they couldn’t find the screws)
My mattress and bedroom set were put in the living room and when I ran downstairs to ask them to move the Mattress into my bedroom he said RUDELY “You never told me that!” Why should I have to tell you the mattress goes into the bedroom? My dresser and sideboard/cabinet were on their side, how am I supposed to lift them upright alone?
On both ends of pickup and delivery they kept trying to get me to pay in cash, most likely because they keep a portion of the cash or are told to do so because the company doesn’t have to report the full amount to the IRS. They tried LEAVE the blankets taped and wrapped on all items of my furniture and said they’re in a rush, they need to be in Ohio by that night. When you hire a moving company, you expect them to unwrap all items and ASSEMBLE the furniture. How would I have seen the damages if they left the blankets on them? About an hour later (with the guy repeatedly saying to his partner “come on, we gotta go”), he finally left him there and took the truck to go pick up Marijuana (the other guy told me this). Now I only have ONE person moving things and putting furniture together?
When they first arrived at about 3:15pm (outside of the arrival window between 10:00am and 2:00pm), my two televisions that I luckily packaged in boxes were hanging on the back of their truck held up by two furniture dollies being pushed against the truck. When I said “You drove all the way here from Atlanta with my televisions hanging off the back of your truck?” They both laughed and said “Oh, those are TVs?”
Not only did they damage my furniture, but they damaged my apartment! This was a brand new apartment I had moved into two days prior and there were deep scratches in the wood flooring from things being dragged, chips and scratches on the front door, walls, floorboards, etc.
On the day of pickup, the men FORGOT to take a large bag with them (the whole apartment was empty, how do you just leave something there and not see it?) and I had to drive over an hour to deliver them to him because they wouldn't come back to pick it up. Is this something all customers have to do? Now the “claims department” wants to pay me $0.60/pound for each of my items damaged? That won’t even cover the cost of a new television. After I complained, the company asked why I didn’t purchase the higher insurance, that was like a joke. When you hire a moving company you expect everything to be packed, stored and returned to you in the same condition it left. Everything had dust and spider webs, who knows where this is stored? I have literally had to call and email this company every single week for MONTHS which has been unbearable and so time consuming with no remedy! I was supposed to have an answer from the claims department within 30-60 days and it has been 3 months with NO RETURNED CONTACT!
