Received MOULDY CHICKEN!! Don't Use!!
One of the meals I received contained visibly mouldy chicken. The worst part is that I had already eaten some of the meal before noticing it. Completely unacceptable and honestly disgusting from a company selling “fresh” prepared food.
This is not just poor quality control — it is a serious food safety issue. There is no excuse for contaminated food making its way through packaging, preparation, and dispatch without being noticed.
I have photographic evidence of the mouldy chicken and have formally complained requesting a refund and compensation. Customers should not have to worry about getting ill from food ordered from a professional meal prep company.
Needless to say, I will not be ordering from Prep Kitchen again and would strongly caution others before trusting them with their food.

We’re very sorry to hear about the concern this caused, especially after you had already started eating the meal. We completely understand why the appearance of the ingredients in the photo was alarming and why you felt strongly about the experience.
In the interest of being completely transparent to anyone reading this review, we carried out a full investigation with our kitchen team and can confirm that what was identified in the meal was not mould, but a combination of coriander, chives, celery and green pepper that had not fully blended during preparation. While we appreciate this looked unpleasant and understandably caused concern, there was no food safety risk identified.
We have already contacted you directly to explain this in full, and the matter has now been resolved. Food safety is something we take extremely seriously and we would never knowingly dispatch meals that pose a risk to our customers. Every meal goes through strict quality control checks before leaving our kitchen, and we are continuing to review this internally to ensure consistency in preparation and presentation.
We appreciate the opportunity to address this openly and clarify the situation for both you and anyone reading the review.

I’ve been receiving prep kitchen meals…
I’ve been receiving prep kitchen meals for around 4 weeks now and I love them. They are so convenient as I work odd hours. And I’ve loved almost all of them. The menu changes every week so there’s a variety as I’m not someone who can eat the same meal everyday. I have lost 4lbs already and don’t even feel like I’m on a diet. I was apprehensive as a lot of the meals are chicken and I’ve always not felt right eating chicken microwave meals as store brought ones I’ve always had a funny squidgy bit of chicken but I’ve not had any problems at all. The chicken is lovely. Prep kitchen have rang me twice to see how I was getting on and I spoke to Sam on the phone today who was lovely. Once I explained my discount runs out next week and even though I will still be continuing to recieve prep kitchen meals I will order fewer to save some pennys but she straight away put the discount on for me again for the next 4 following weeks and said to ring them once them 4 weeks are up and they will add on a more long term discount which was amazing. Can’t recommend them enough and Thankyou to Sam who has helped me out. Really appreciated X

Delicious food, brilliant service
I love my Prep Kitchen meals and look forward to receiving (and eating!) them every week.
I really appreciate the variety of options to choose from, and have some firm favourites like the Spicy Korean Chicken.
The food is always well packaged and arrives cool from the cold packs included in the package. My deliveries on Mondays all usually have use by dates of Thursday or Friday which means nothing ever goes to waste.
I also appreciate the brilliant customer service from Sam who checked in on how I'm finding the service, and made sure I'm getting the best value from my subscription - thanks Sam!

We have tried multiple meal prep companies over the years and honestly, Prepkitchen is by far the best. Every single meal has been fantastic, full of flavour, fresh and genuinely something we look forward to eating every day. The quality is miles ahead of anything else we have tried.

3rd week in and the meals are so tasty! I order 15 meals a week and theres only a couple that I didn't like. Theres such a wide variety of different food which I love, ive tried things and combinations ive never tried before. Veg i dont like but somehow tastes really good.
I had 1 hiccup on recent order.. 2 of my meals had burst open at the bottom but I contacted support and Rebecca replied pretty much instantly and gave me 3 free meals on my next order which im more than satisfied with.
Great company, Great support, the food is not bland, there's so much choices and variety. Orders have always been on time. Can't rate them high enough!

Very tasty and hassle free
Started a subscription with PrepKitchen to help loose weight, the choice of meals are great and plenty of options. Had 1 minor hiccup with the delivery where 1 small pot was damage (not prepkitchens fault, down to courier mis handling) contacted support and it was resolved in less than 30 minutes. Now that is great customer service, not having to jump through hoops, straight to a solution which i must say was amazing. Look forward to my future meals.

Great meals and great customer service
I have been using prep kitchen for about three months now and have found that they are absolutely amazing. Not only is the food of great quality in standard so is the Customer Service. Me and my partner are on different journeys with our weight I am wanting to gain and he is wanting to lose so it’s really good that we can both enjoy meals and feel satisfied and also get the end result we both want. I have tried a couple of other companies and nothing compares to prep kitchen.

Finally business that knows what they are doing. Meals that are ACTUALLY flavoursome and I love my flavours lol. Great variety for all, at a reasonable price, what more could you ask for. Any issues I’ve ever had have ALWAYS been resolved, so 10/10 for me. I even got a call a couple days back to ask for feedback, meaning they are always looking to improve. They ended up giving me free brownies in my next box. Honestly I can’t complain, so thank you Team Prep Kitchen.

I haven’t left a trust pilot review for a few years but I’ve been so impressed with prep kitchen.
I researched a lot of similar companies but felt they were best for my food allergies. I’ve been genuinely so impressed with the meal choices. I don’t think I’ve had anything I’ve disliked and I’ve tried a fair selection so far. The food comes well packaged and feel the ingredients are fresh.
I’ve also been trying to calorie count and using PK has helped massively. I don’t have time to prep my own meals currently and this has helped me track calories for meals on my fitness pal easily. Takes a lot of thought out of the process.
Sam from PK called me today as well. I usually hate Cold calls but she was lovely and friendly and offered me a further two weeks worth of discount for the positive feedback I had shared. I didn’t know they were a smaller company and so respect them reaching out to speak to customers for feedback - I had nothing but positivity to share.
I did feel as the initial discounts were wearing off that it was becoming a bit expensive but I probably spent a lot more that then went in the bin before I subscribed so think it’s worth the price for the convenience.

Hands down the best meal prep out there!
I’ve been using Prep Kitchen for 3 or 4 years now and honestly, I don’t know how I’d survive without them! The meals are always spot on and it just makes my whole week so much easier. Also, a massive shout-out to their customer service team—they are an absolute dream to deal with.
My only tiny request? It would be amazing to have some more "ready to eat cold" options, especially for the summer. When it’s roasting outside, the last thing I want to do is turn on the microwave! Still 10/10 though.

Absolutely amazing!
I’ve been using the service for the past 6 weeks and it’s helped me massively to lose over 1st, the choice of meals is great, the flavour is fantastic and the connivence is just what I need whilst balancing my full time job & family.
The customer service provided by Sam in particular was great, one of my meals was damaged (by the courier), this was replaced without hesitation and added on was on additional free meal, a free snack and a further discount moving forward.
I don’t have a bad word to say and I will be using these forever (no jokes
