I made an order and for three weeks they kept sending a message that it will be delivered and then cancelling it. After 3 weeks I called. First woman said there is nothing to do, they cant contact the store where order will come. A week later and 3 more rdvs cancelled another woman said she was going to call to see whats happening and call me back. Nothing. Upon me calling back another woman (even if I asked for previous they were never available) found out that my order could naver have been delivered!!! But for 3 weeks they didnt bother informing me.. Never ever again
Unreliable delivery time promises
I placed an order for a sofa at the end of november that should have been delivered in 15-20 days. I contacted praktiker the 5th of january, so more than one month later, and the answer was that the extimated delivery would be by the end of january but still could not guarantee delivery and that it could take even more!! I cancelled my order and supposedly i should receive my money back in 3-5 days.....hope they are more serious with refund than with deliveries.
No phone service at all
No phone service. Tried to call twice just to ask if two products were in stock at a certain store so I wasn't driving to the store (2.5 hours away) for nothing.
It's been 25 minutes that I have been on hold. Ridiculous!
Last time I went to the store (about a month ago), the floor staff were NOT very helpful and need training in how to speak to people. Cashiers were nice though and tried to compensate for the general staff attitude.
Quality of products is generally better at Leroy Merlin.
Too long shipping
When something small is "available for shipping with courier", we shouldn't have to wait 25 days for it to be delivered. I could have order it from China and it would have been delivered already. Praktiker eshop is constantly of the worst experiences ever.

Waiting over 25 days for things that were ready to be delivered to the store. Incompetence and mockery at its best. To be told that things are gone and after 20 days to find out that they haven't even been delivered to the carrier.. The worst experience I've ever had in an online purchase.

I bought a washing machine from the Corfu store and within one week it broke ,not spinning and the electric board completely stopped working it also tripped all the electric in the house !! The shop refused to exchange or give a refund as they said the process was a technician must come to see if it could be fixed ..we had to wait a week for him to come ,he order 3 different parts and said they would be here in a few days ..we heard nothing after a week so called him to be told they hadn't arrived and it would be another two weeks!!! This it's totally unacceptable and I will never ever buy anything from there again!! I'm also considering to take this matter further through legal channels it's absolutely disgusting customer service!!! Still after 3 months nothing has been done and the manager has blocked my number from contacting him so I will go to the store this is unlawful and totally wrong ,this man is totally ignoring any kind of communication to resolve this ,do not buy from here go elsewhere they steal your money

Like any other company i have dealt so far for the last 12+ years, they are also part of the underworld and illegal silent network described in my reviews here. Every time i place an order they are giving me hell (not sending the orders, making it difficult for the customer to receive bigger & heavier orders close to premises even thought shipping fees charged are much higher than normal for Greek standards, intentionally, taking too long to deliver simple & small orders - extending close to a month or more, which is unreasonably far more, even from the delivery timeframe promised at the time of the order, trying to ridicule the customer(only speaking about myself) when calling to check on the status of the order by intentionally transferring the call around WITHOUT providing ANY real customer service, not replying on the emails, etc).
Moreover, even, the popular, 7-Eleven, convenience stores, have a better customer service than those mentally bankrupt "business people" & "employees", who still run Praktiker.gr Home Improvement/DIY Greek subsidiary.
In addition, this whole perverted network constantly practice, "Scottish Showers" with everybody acting on their role, as an individual synchronized with the source, alternating from giving hell to providing recognition via implied compliments (implied via verbal and non-verbal communication including but not limited to body language, staged events and other forms of nasty communication), that however all are after all, ONLY empty "words" and as good for the "chicks" or any giddy/loony person and NOT for any NORMAL serious person that aims to have his job done with the normal (minimum) need for hustle.
They, intentionally, make simple things extremely difficult and a pain to deal with them. Similarly, with what bimbos/promiscuous gals, power hungry who deliver their "boyfriends/girlfriends" & others; constant tricks, making up smaller or bigger problems and in general a deceitful demeanor. (Take a look & listen to the official music video from American/ALBANIAN, Ava Max - Kings & Queens. Did you get the idea?!;)). Virtual "Femdom", a power "game" and on top a "game" of hide & seek, WITHOUT ever being invited to do so. Applied by them by force, as a single telepathically organized unit.
Among many other forms of criminal, premeditated, behavior/actions/events, camouflaged like a mine ready to step on them, & also delivered by this "secret" - DEVIOUS - INTERNATIONAL network.
Moreover, I believe backhanded comments delivered WITHOUT my consent & sexually related, are considered sexual harassment and generally all invasive actions that have been undertaken by this illegal & twisted network all along, as a single unit, different forms of harassment!
Furthermore, have you ever heard of Murphy's Law? Generally speaking, in short, he states, that what is supposed to go wrong, will. However, in the background, the source of the problem is the evil third eyes and the network, both adding the UNNATURAL "resistance" in tasks, events and life to + promote the ache/misery.
When your TURN IS UP with one of these ("organizations/people"), & they are apparently ample, individuals/private org or backed by the government, GOOD LUCK..

Update: they did not reply to the emails sent but called after A MONTH!+, to let me know that the order could NOT be delivered yet, because they did not have it on the warehouse associated with their online store and I would have to wait for an additional month unless i would cancel the order now and re-order and have it sent via a mail order as they would mail it from a different warehouse of theirs, and in this case it would be available! What?! Nonsense?
Moreover, apparently they, AMONG OTHER THINGS mentioned here, have issues with their logistics, communication and response times.
THIS ORDER, 2, WAS CANCELED, & I requested a full-refund that was debited back to my visa pre-paid card, a week after the cancellation.
ThanX for the hustle free, straight forward/SINCERE service & communication AND, apparently, ABOVE ALL your appreciation, & as customer, "guys".
Concluding, one more "wanna be" successful PROFESSIONAL business with an overly extended wishful thinking predisposition.
(I feel honored & thankful and been well taken care off, all along, @ large. The ridiculous part is that the shelves where the packaging... As in they put the least amount of packaging possible which led to shipping scratching all of the items surfaces. I will never buy from them again...
Delayed order and ridiculous customer support
Forever delayed order, with 0 info provided about the status of it. Will it come this year? Will it even come? Nobody tells you or writes anything in their joke of a site. I tried the customer support call center, half times someone picks up and says "we are busy we will call you back" (they never do)!! So you have to be lucky to fall to someone who actually works their money and isn't lazy, good luck. This is the most ridiculous thing I have seen in a call center, I wonder what dumb managers they have over there. Then I sent an email and apparently someone called after that but I missed it. So they sent an email to say they called me but couldn't find me but not telling me what they were calling me for..It's surreal how terrible and incompetent they are. It's weird that they haven't gone bankrupt. Every person in the management should be fired yesterday. And then half the customer support.
Absolutely not recommended. Go to Leroy. Go to any shop other than praktiker. Any e-shop is better than praktiker.
Absolutely terrible ordered 3 aircons…
Absolutely terrible ordered 3 aircons to be delivered to zakynthos. They stated 5 days when we ordered them it is now almost 2 months later and they still have no arrived. They offered a voucher for in store I said no way!! I am now going to the greek ombudsman to file a claim!!!

This is the worst service ever
This is the worst service ever. I ordered an a/c on 03 June. By the end of the month it had not been delivered and they tried to deliver it on days I had explicitly said I was away. I contacted the phone service and was repeatedly hung up on. They would also tell me that they are overworked and would call me back and would never call back. I tried to talk to a manager but the staff would just hang up the phone and say this was not available to me. I also drove to Gerakas, but the manager told me that since the order was made by phone, they could not help me. I have been dealing with my order for a month now and have now asked them to cancel it. Now I am trying to get my money back and there are delays with this too. I will certainly report them to the consumer council if I do not get my money back soon. I would not order anything from them and will never again buy anything from Praktiker due to this very bad experience.

They keep changing the date of delivery. 3 weeks to receive a product from a warehouse in the same city. When you call they keep rerouting your call like a pingpong ball and telling you they don't know how to help you. An absolute joke of a store.

Have ordered a glass separator for a bath …. on 14th April.

When I asked to be kept online and wait I was answered rudely by an employee A.Z.(I can give her name if asked by someone) on help line. Never been spoken so rudely by support. 4 days still waiting for a call concerning my order.

So I paid nearly £50 for a beach umbrella that was not available.
The geniuses kept sending me emails telling me they could not reach me on my UK mobile (complete and utter incompetence or simple buffoonery?? NOT SURE!!!), so I responded in writing but nobody ever acknowledged or responded to my replies.
When I got in touch with them on the telephone, not only did they not apologise for not having updated their website, but they tried to push me a more expensive umbrella which I declined. You should hear the rep's judgemental sighing when I said "no" and requested a refund!!! Like, omg, does the money come out of their own pocket??? Or am I supposed to just gobble down whatever %$£ they're shovelling at me???
Anyway. They verbally confirmed they will refund me. Three days later and complete radio silence. No emails to confirm I am receiving a refund, no texts, no messages, nothing.
So I raised this with my bank and I am getting my money back.
Avoid PRAKTIKER GREECE like the plague.

Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Ordered laminate, and skirting in middle of November.
Got the laminate after 1 month, but the skirting has still not arrived. Been waiting 2 months now and no information at all. Are calling them every day, but always the same answer. They will call back. They never called back.
We can not move in to our new house or install our kitchen, because the skirting that we have paid for is missing. I feel they have fooled us, stolen our money.
I wonder if anyone has taken this company to court?

They were advertising "Delivery within 3-5 days"
Today we have Dec 19, and the result is:
- they have taken the money from my credit card,
- my order is NOT delivered,
- I've spend 3 hours waiting on the line to speak to the customer service,
- they don't have a clue where my order is and when it is gonna be sent to me.
PRAKTIKER.... NEVER AGAIN!!!!
