For a short delay in payment

For a short delay in payment, we were charged an additional fee. I contacted them to explain that we had not seen the email, as it had been opened by another colleague, but unfortunately they did not accept this explanation. It is quite unfortunate.

Hello

To ensure that all payments are taken into account up to the last day of the month, we grant our customers an additional three days of grace beyond the end of the month before issuing a reminder.

In this regard, we consider it fair that customers who are late in making payments contribute to the costs incurred, in the form of a flat-rate reminder fee, in accordance with the polluter-pays principle.

Hello,

At www.powerpay.ch, you will find detailed and transparent explanations of our invoices.

Each customer is free to choose whether they would like to pay the invoice in installments or the total amount at once.

The first invoice clearly shows which retailer is involved. If a customer pays in installments, the monthly invoices are sent at the beginning of the following month with the current outstanding amounts.

Thank you very much.

Kind regards,

AVOID

PowerPay uses a particularly confusing billing method. The company does not clearly state the total amount allegedly owed, but instead only lists fees related to non-payment. When it is not even clearly indicated which purchase the claim relates to, the situation becomes extremely ambiguous. It becomes impossible to understand what the amount corresponds to or why it is being requested.

Personally, I will now be inclined to avoid companies that use this type of debt-collection practice.

Worst Payment and Customer Service

Worst Payment Service I ever came across and rude customer service. K. Krasniqi in particular. They don't list out the charges and make it look like you haven't paid your original invoice. When I asked customer service for clarification they did not hold back calling me a lier and never apologized for it. Even in further proceeding which then was in written form with K. Krasniqi, they didn't consider apologizing but requested the remaining payment for a date that was already in the past. When I finally received a document that showed the charges, they had added another additional 10.00 CHF late fee for not having paid in time - although it was THEM who did not reply before the due date and continuously claimed I should pay on time while the date was in the past. Interesting way to make money. AVOID IF YOU CAN!

Thank you for your feedback.

We understand that small residual amounts—especially when they appear after a long period of time—can be irritating.

These amounts usually arise from postal counter fees or small outstanding items that were not fully settled in previous payments.

If you pay your bills via e-banking, you will not incur any such post office counter fees.

You can find a transparent overview of your bills at any time at www.powerpay.ch.

We are also happy to assist you personally if you have any questions about the statement—by phone or email.

Thank you for your understanding.

Kind regards,

If I could give a zero star

If I could give a zero star, I would. my girlfriend used Powerpay for her bathroom renovation 5 months ago. Her interest and principal balance have been going up constantly. Her loan was originally set for $14000. Her bill now says she owes over $30,000 and she is being charged $400 per day. She has never missed a payment at all. We both live in North Carolina and I am very well aware of what the state interest/APR is a loan. According to my figures when putting this all together tells me that this company is charging her a 1,042.86% interest rate. When she called to speak with someone she was transferred to and Asian woman that was very rude and told her that she should have read her contract. When she told her that she did read her contract that there is nothing with in the fine lines that would justify any of this, all she could come back with was, I'm sorry but you should have read a little deeper. This is Illegal and goes against N.C. Gen. Stat. § 24-1. I told her that she just needs to contact an attorney.

Pls avoid to use their service

Pls avoid to use their service! If any problem they do not give you any detail about where the problem is! You feel a criminal if you choose the option with them or Paycard (same terrible stuff and I’m being polite!!!!) and your request is rejected! A real shame considering that all invoices are paid correctly and PUNCTUALLY! Simply no explanation and their advice is to change payment option… Only solutions! And reading what other people wrote, I feel ashamed for you. Guys, allow me to suggest you to change job…

A very annoying company and the main…

A very annoying company and the main reason lies with the lack of clarity. Powerpay does not communicate clearly what is left to pay and when and also seems to unilaterally decide in which one of the 4 official languages of Switzerland it sends communications.
As with the many other reviews, the interest and fees keep accumulating and it creates a very large number of unhappy customer. The regulator should look into this.
Reading the other reviews, anyone can see that the 5 stars are all paid for whereas anyone else posting here is unhappy.
Interestingly the management of the company behind it (MF Global) seems not to be proud of themselves as they are not displayed on their website. One has to go through the official company register.

Scam company! Be careful

Outrageously impertinent company! I have no words for their business conduct. They send invoices on behalf of companies that mislead you to believe you need to pay a certain amount, only to send you reminders with outrageous!!! fees added to original invoice. A real SCAM company, their business model is to cheat. They should be prosecuted for their business practices by Swiss authorities.

*Sketchy, aggressive, if not criminal practices*

*Sketchy, aggressive, if not criminal practices*

I purchased two FC St. Gallen teddy bears online from Senn Pro Baby on November 1st. The bears are cute and were shipped on time.

However, Senn Pro Baby uses an overly aggressive, if not criminal, company, PowerPay, for payments. Despite the fact that I paid the full value owed 4+ months ago, PowerPay is still sending me invoices that are now four times higher in total (!!!!) than the original price I paid 4+ months ago (120.40CHF for 2, 20CHF bears)—and neither Senn Pro Baby nor PowerPay is willing to do anything about it (despite my multiple emails and requests for help).

And I am not the first to report sketchy, aggressive, if not criminal charges by PowerPay in Switzerland (story on SRF).

Don't use them for your business and run away if a business is trying to charge you via PowerPay!!!

Terrible and rude experience. Powerpay charging abusively to customers

This Powerpay company are licensed thieves. Eugenia Barrios called last week to get the final balance and she paid it in full. They got the payment and sent another bill with another amount. This is ridiculous. I’m going to contact the media and make this known publicly unless you stop charging more money. Your customer service are trained to lie to customers even though they said that the call is recorded. I want a manager or someone in authority to listen to the recordings when it was very clear that Eugenia asked for the final balance and she paid what she was told in full. If you insist on keep charging more money, you will face the consequences.
