Never use this company they are rotten to the core. they sold me a jacket and boots but forgot to pay the mahinest to tie of the ends meaning the jacket is falling apart. the pockets are off and the fabric torn. the cuffs, the hood the zips the straps all fall off and coming away due to not being tied down. they refunded my boots but not the jacket. they then coerce me using the refund as a tool to give me a refund which i agreed and still no refund. so now ill update you guy on that. ever trust Pools SUrplus Stores they are straight scammers and bad people. also the kit is bad poor value.

they sent me an unfinished jacket and told e to take it to a seamstress. they emailed me again coercing me over the review. i already removed the last review. i told them refund first. this is the type of company your dealing with. if i could flag them as scammers i would. and ill be reporting them to trading standards.

**after refund 30/7/24
me the customer had the boots for 7weeks at the point were i opened the case on the boots and jacket. the boots lost all of there ability to resist water, the stitching opened letting in water and they do not dry out, giving you trench foot in dew from grass, there meant to be water tight.

the jacket is horrendous, i only the the photos of the pocket, the stitching came lose it isnt tidied down. all it burst at the open holes where the fabric is weak, most of the stitching is like this zipps, the pockets the cuffs the Velcro ext is all fraying away at the seems, the jacket is quite literarily falling apart, they did tell me to take it to a stream-stress. all of this is fact.
excessive ware? when i've used it only on rainy days in 7 weeks. i made them aware that the other pocket was also going to fall apart showing in the phots how it will start and tear in the exact same way in the same place.

i was coming on here to remove this review as the refund came through just now, as thats what i agreed to. now that ive seen they are trying to damage control call me a liar after they actually lied to me. what i say is fact and i have the receipts.

(reputable brand, excessive ware in tear and 7 week life span being generous, send unfinished work told me to finish it myself, coerced me then didn't live up to the deal) all fact.

Pools Surplus excelled at all levels. Their website was straightforward to use and the items arrived promptly and were as expected. A small issue with one item (outside of Pools Surplus's control) was dealt with courteously and promptly. I couldn't praise Pools Surplus more. I can completely recommend them.
