Refund taking forever, no proper answer ever
Since I didn’t like the color of the bag I decided to return my order the next day. It has been 4 weeks since the company confirmed receiving my order at the “atelier”. The refund is overdue for 4 WEEKS and every time I try to find out about the return status I get the same answer like “ we will have a close look at it act….. I’m really disappointed and didn’t expect it from the brand as such. I wouldn’t order again.

I’ll tell you about my experience, and please be very careful with pre-orders that aren’t fulfilled. Only buy bags that are in stock.
Allow me to summarise what has happened:
- I placed a pre-order on 15 June, with delivery scheduled for 23 June.
- On 25 June, as I hadn’t received my order, I contacted the customer care and they told me that the order was being processed and that I shouldn’t worry
- On the same day, I received an email from the customer service team stating, without any explanation, that my order had been cancelled and that I would receive a refund. I repeat: without any explanation.
- I asked the customer service team for an explanation, but no clarification was provided.
I am truly disappointed; I have been a fan Polene for a long time and really wanted this bag.
I also visited the boutique in Milan, where they put me on a waiting list, but I was never contacted.
I didn’t think a brand like Polene would show such a lack of interest in its customers.
I’m sorry, but you’ve lost a customer, and I’ll be sure to highlight this behaviour on social media and to my friends.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. I ordered a bag for my wife on May 15. Polene sent me tracking information the next day. The bag was shipped to Australia, although I live in the States. Fine, these things happen. I contacted Polene to let them know I did not receive the bag, and asked that they send another. They acknowledged the bag had been shipped to the wrong continent, and said they would look into it. It's now been five weeks, and they have not sent me another bag. They also tell me they cannot give me a refund. I have called and e-mailed them repeatedly. The customer-service reps I speak to are always apologetic, but tell me they cannot help me: the issue has been escalated to management, and management alone can decide whether I receive a replacement bag or a refund. But management never gets back to me. Management does not seem interested in ensuring I receive the product I paid for. Again, this has been going on for FIVE WEEKS. I'm beginning to think the whole operation is a scam.

I preordered the Numéro dix- Galop in cognac in February 2026. The original shipping date was for May 15. I was notified that there would be a delay and received a second notification that they were making progress, but another delay. I received the bag today, June 25. The bag is fantastic. Absolutely beautiful and more than I expected. The craftsmanship, the leather and the design are just beyond my expectations. This was well worth the wait. Customer service: Polene communicated with me, without me reaching out which I appreciated. Polene added a cute leather book charm to my delivery which was such a lovely touch. I would absolutely buy another bag from Polene. This is my second bag and both bags have been of excellent quality. I am a very happy customer.
