Early Adopter - They canceled my free lifetime service
I used Pod trackers from their early start. The product was very useful for geo fencing. I have purchased 4 over the years and had two that were sold as a lifetime service. But the last year service was unsuable and even though i made sure and keep the unit active the cell service became unavailable and they canceled my service on two pod trackers for my two dogs without any notice. This placed the safety of my two dogs in jeopardy.

I had a great experience for two years. Immediate responses to IM support. I received extra batteries quickly when I ordered. The device work flawlessly.
Then I had an issue with batteries staying attached. Not PodTracker’s fault. I let my dog wear her collar (w/Pod3) and other dogs chewed on it. The result was batteries don’t stay tightly sighted. So I lost them.
That was about two months ago. I ordered a new Pod3 after trying to take advantage of advertise traded in on damaged Pod3.
They billed my credit card and then nothing for two months.
I Do see my money was refunded to my credit card yesterday. So someone is reviewing phone messages.
I hope they work things out. I really think they have a good product. I would buy again if thing get settled and product is available.
They should put out a statement about their current situation. It will go miles in their favor.

Horrendous company, Horrendous support, great product if they had people in charge who had any clue about customer service. Karma catches up and I’m pretty sure they are going under, they deserve to. I was an original Kickstarter backer and was under the impression we would have priority on the first batch only to find out Argos had been given exclusivity. It was pretty unreliable from the start, countless lies and rude communications from the company. The support staff were about as technical as my Nan who thinks the cordless phone works the TV. The tracker finally failed when they had a sim issue, maybe over a year ago and still waiting for replacement. Absolutely a lesson to anyone how not to run a company.

I've had a pod tracker for my cat since the company first started. It always worked great until a few months ago. Now it never tracks and I can not get any response from the company. Apparently this company has gone under but beware they will still take your money for nothing.

My pod worked well until a few months ago and I have not been able to get a response from their service site or email. Have tried for weeks now and no luck. I bought mine on their site for double what Vodafone charges and didn't receive it for 4 months, but at least then they responded. Now looks inevitable that I will have to replace it.

I have been contacting this company for about 2 1/2 months, I need batteries and they are always sold out. They have not responded at all and this is very frustrating. My pod is also cracking on the sides so I have a feeling it's not going to last much longer anyhow. I've only had it for about 1 1/2 yr but I'm on my last battery and then because this company does not have batteries for sale and does not respond to numerous attempts, like 2 to 3 messages a week. I guess I'm out the money and can't afford to buy different one. I believe they owe me a refund if they are not going to have batteries available. These have special batteries just for this device. Don't buy from this company! Also I keep sending messages asking if they went out of business and no response to that either. If anyone know what agency to report this company to let me know. I guess I will have to do some research. I'm extremely angry with them.

DO NOT BUY. Since I bought pod a year ago, nothing but had non stop trouble. Had to change whole pod unit, had to change battery few times, even charger. And ordered new pod unit they never sent it. They used to say, as it’s small starting up company, there’s long waiting list blah blah, it doesn’t mean you can rip us off!!
Now I have no working pod(Working,but broken so won’t last long), or money to buy another one. This is just wrong!: and they are ignoring everyone!!!! And can’t believe they still sell things, when they don’t even give you answer or any reply!!!

Until around a year ago everything was fine. Sure, I had some issues with the device but there was no problem with support and if needed I received replacements without a problem (and even free of charge when terms applied). The latest version, Pod 3, was improved and didn't suffer from cracking casing so common in earlier units (though the charger design was worse than the previous one).
The batteries started to deteriorate and my charger got damaged so I wanted to order a new ones and that's when I first noticed problems (well, the first time was a few months of delay while sending Pod 3, but it happens after Kickstarter and I received a device lifetime subscription as compensation). The support didn't respond to my emails for a long time, but finally they did and I was able to order new batteries and charger.
I would think nothing of it after that, but then my cat's collar got stolen or destroyed (we haven't ever found it despite radio locator attached as well). Anyway, I inquired about transferring my subscription to a new device. And the situation with emails happened again. In the span of a few weeks I send several emails, from different accounts, no response. When the response finally came they offered me 40% a new unit but the subscription could't be transferred. Which is right according to the terms of use, but since I received it as compensations for a delay with delivery I hoped they would make and exception (but that's a detail really).
Anyway, I gave them one more chance (since I already was used to the device and had batteries and charger from the previous unit that could be of use) and ordered the Pod. That was 1,5 month ago and I've heard nothing from them since. No confirmation of order, no message from deliver service, no response to yet another emails inquiring about the status of my delivery. Nothing.
So I'll be getting my money back from PayPal and ordering a tracker from another company.
Spare yourself the troubles and avoid ordering from Pod Trackers.

I purchased the pod trackers several years ago. Customer service used to be available by phone and I used to have to call to renew my annual monitoring contract. This year the company automatically renewed and charged me a total of $98 for the tracker service for my 2 dogs but the app hasn't worked in 9 months! Customer service is no longer available by phone and nobody is responding to my e-mails or to the chat window on the website. I have reported the company in California where one of their headquarters is located and I am reporting their scam to the FTC. I'm in the process of finding out where to report the company in Australia and the UK where other headquarters are located. Finally, I am writing negative reviews on every social media platform and every website pod tracker is sold on that I can find. They're thieves!!!!

There was an issue with the sim, they said a replacement would be sent out ...must be around 20 months ago. l've put this all behind me and using Tractive tracker now .... brilliant unit and tracking system. Even if I get my replacement I won't be using it

Con artists. Took my money, product didn’t work, they admitted it didn’t work, wouldn’t refund me and I’m still waiting ONE YEAR LATER for the replacement. I’ve moved on now but I email them from time to time just to annoy them. The fact they can get away with it without punishment is amazing.

This company completely swindled me here in the uk. I was promised a replacement when my original tracker became obsolete and not only did it never arrive, but customer service continued to take my annual subscription despite me contacting them by email and via online help (no response). My experience of the tracker was that it was at best unreliable. I think this meets my definition of a scam.

Paid for a years subscription in September 2018. 2/3 way through the year May 2019 they stopped providing the service. Device totally useless Said send a replacement. Numerous messages, still have not had a replacement. Last week tried to charge me another year subscription. I would avoid, take money fail to provide service.

Am also a victim of the vodafone service cancellation which made our podtrackers useless. Have got some email stating there would be replacement pods sent out but then the answers got more and more random and now i havenät got a single reply to an email in two months, so I'm pretty sure that there wont be any replacement pods to anyone.
Stay clear of podtrackers and go for tractive or some other tracker solution.

I have a cat who has asthma and many allergies. He is an old boy now and I need to medicate him every day. His pod has not worked since Dec 2018. I still have not received the replacement. Their customer service ice is the worst I've ever experienced. I keep contacting with no success. I can't even get my money back. Stay well away.
