I went in to my local plumbing world to buy a commercial grade drain cleaner. Although this is very corrosive and can be dangerous, it is NOT a restricted product. The salesperson refused to sell it to me by order of head office on the basis that I am not a plumber. I refuse to pay a plumber ( their number one customer), an exorbitant fee to put legally available drain cleaner down a drain.

Would not use again. Our builder ordered 8 items for our bathroom from Plumbing World NZ and unfortunately 5 arrived damaged.
Thought it would be a simple process for him to get them replaced but two of the items took too long to get a new undamaged by PW.
One of the item - a bathroom cabinet with mirror glass had a chip taken out of it. PW advise was they weren't going to replace but suggested using alcohol wipes to remove???
Quoted the Consumer GA and the damaged item was soon replaced by a new one.
What a stressful process and one that PW last a customer over.
Craig Veale was outstanding to work with. He had to get a whole lot of parts together for me via a phone conversation and viewing photos. I found him pleasant, easy to deal with, and very very knowledgable. On top of these qualities he was quick and efficient. Overall, this guy is one in a million.
