Great Service - Aiman Was Brilliant!
Aiman has been brilliant during our Conveyancing process, she was very fast at getting things sorted, the process would of been complete probably 2.5 months earlier if it wasn't for the management company!
Even when we were frustrated at this holdback Aiman showed she cared and wanted it just as much as we did which was great!

Great turnaround

Successful exchange, but communication could be improved
PLS successfully progressed our purchase to exchange, which we appreciate. However, our experience throughout the process was more stressful than it needed to be.
Emails were often answered late or not at all, and the tone of some telephone conversations with our case handler or other members of the team came across as abrupt and dismissive. We were also asked to provide the same documents twice, although they had already been sent by email.
Communication and progress improved noticeably only after the matter was escalated and the developer became involved. While we are pleased that contracts were eventually exchanged, we do not feel that clients should have to repeatedly chase for updates or escalate matters to receive timely attention.
After exchange, we received an email suggesting that we “might have been a little anxious”. We found this wording disappointing because our concerns arose from the lack of communication and the way the case was handled, rather than from the conveyancing process itself.
We hope this feedback is taken constructively and helps improve the experience for future clients.

I wasn’t happy with the Solicitor / the Team who handled my case. I barely get an answer when I wanted to clarify something with her team - first letter of her name is ‘C’ - her work ethics is incredibly below satisfactory. But I am glad it’s done cause it was a horrible experience for someone Asian like me for buying my first home here in the UK.

First time buyers
As first-time buyers, we found the entire process overwhelming and, unfortunately, felt that we were not adequately supported throughout.
Our case handler would frequently promise to provide updates or communicate with us, but on numerous occasions this communication never materialised. We also felt that there was a lack of proactivity in managing our case, particularly when it came to chasing other parties within the chain and keeping the process moving forward. We raced through the first few stages to ensure that the process moved smoothly but then were waiting for months with concerns and frustrations building. Our case handler assured us that it was further up the chain who were holding us up however when we finally got to an exchange date, we couldn’t get hold of them for 2 days.
When we attempted to raise our concerns about our case handler, we were disappointed by the response. Rather than being offered support from a line manager or having our concerns properly addressed, we were told that we “didn’t need to complain because a manager wouldn’t be able to make the process go any quicker.” We found this response dismissive and felt that our concerns were not being taken seriously.
As first-time buyers, we were looking for reassurance, clear communication and proactive support throughout what was already a stressful and unfamiliar process. Unfortunately, this was not our experience, and we were left feeling frustrated, unsupported and unsure about what was happening at several points along the way.
