Not a game, just a torture device

Artificial intelligence is non-existent, hitboxes are completely random, and gameplay mechanics are absurdly stupid (Troodon taming is the perfect example).
ARK could have been amazing, but instead it’s an insult to players’ time and patience.
Eight years of “patches” and nothing has improved.
This isn’t survival — it’s frustration sold at full price.

Worst game ever

Simply the worst video game ever. Totally absent artificial intelligence, an uncomfortable and senseless command menu, omnipresent bugs, dinosaurs that can damage you through rocks thanks to polygonal interpenetration (you can't)... and these are just a few examples of the many problems the game has.

Filled with cheaters

Filled with cheaters , admins who abuse their rights to help Tea (DEV TRIBE) with anything they need, ban enemies roll back server ect.

Ark Ascended is the same and even worse
If you can believe there is more cheaters in ASA its actually true, 13k ppl playing the game atm its a dead game dont buy!!

Horrible dev's the worst in any game 100%
They never meet their deadlines or even hold on to the plans they make for their community so everyone keeps getting told stuff that never happends or if it does its with 6 months delay ect.

Unplayable weather conditions

Just recently invested in the new Ark ascendant. Very disappointed for they have not updated the game for the time I’ve had it..
I really don’t think anyone works at wildcard?
An example, on top of the volcano, why have metal there resources if you can’t mind them for the fog and blackout fog all day! In the old Ark, it was playable, the whole point of gaming is to escape reality, here you have weather condition. I think realism is good to a degree., but for it to be unplayable, what’s the point
So wild Card when are you going to fix this easy fix so everyone can play your game?
Also, no kibble! Also, no kibble, none of the kibble recipes work! As soon as a better game comes along, I’m going to jump ship, good riddance, wildcard!!! 😡

Wildcard the greatest company I know

Ark is the highest quality game i have ever seen. It has the least bugs it’s the most optimized and it’s very advanced. I’m a coder so I tried to figure out the details of the code of the game and it is masterfully crafted.

Wildcard(company behind the game) it’s truly the best
Wildcard is incredibly kind making high quality games for cheap and continuing to update games for years after release. Donating to charities and constantly interacting with the community. Supporting modders in all sorts of ways like sponsored mods mod tournaments and official mods they even made mod tutorials. Making weekly announcements doing QnA’s. The list goes on and on and on it never stops with this company.

Buggy, crashes, and the worst support

The game servers crash daily. You lose your inventory when they do. You lose your Ark data, (your stuff the company protects from other players). The support is somewhere between terrible and non-existent. Do not waste your money and more importantly, your time on this company or its products.

It's a good game

It's a good game, but the gameplay is only as good as the people/community that you play with unless the single-player mode is more your style. I'd recommend running your own server and just playing with your friends. There are still a lot of exploits that people abuse, the game isn't the most optimized, and the updates are often massive in terms of download size, but if you can get past that... it's pretty solid. There is a reason that many diehard fans have a love-hate relationship with Ark.

The most bugged and generally worst…

The most bugged and generally worst coded game I have ever seen. This alone would make me hate it as much as I somehow still love it, but the frequent and useless updates of 40GB etc are an audacity. Sometimes there is literally no change except the attempt to fix old bugs by creating new bugs. This must be the worst IT team there has ever been.
