Customer services sucks

I put in an order for a full grown tree for a client and when I was done I realized I had put in my address not the clients. I messaged them right away and explained the autofill mistake. They said no worries they woukd fix it but did not and a week later left the tree on my driveway. 3 weeks later they are still gaslighting me that they are going to move it over to the client's house. Every week its "next week for sure". Meanwhile my client doesn't have their expensive tree and I have a giant tree in my driveway for 3 weeks.

All apply: Great! Not so great. Frustrating.

Disappointed in the quality of their plants. About 50% of the plants i received, are older, very root bound, poorly shaped, and kind of ragged looking. Pink Kangaroo Paws: 33% success rate. Lantana: expect to cut all the the plants you receive back by about 90% and let them grow back. Great price on Acacia Cousin ITT: 50% were poorly pruned and not very dense. I ordered a Grosso Lavender: not sure what I received, but it’s unlike any Grosso Lavender I’ve seen elsewhere. And it is ragged looking. Coyote Brush / Coyote Bush: 1 out of 5 didn’t need to be cut back almost to the ground. Sages and salvias are good. 75% of Lions Tail arrived in good condition; one was a little ragged but I was able to resurrect it. Lomandra arrived in the best condition, along with the Coral Fountain grass.

Communication with the company is sun-par, unfortunately. No response to emails. I did call the company and asked to change my order; order changed successfully but it received no confirmation of the change until the plants arrived and I could see the change had been made. Since the company moved their ordering and tracking system to a new software system, you’ll at least now know when the driver will be arriving.

The driver/deliver people: they provide a 1st class service. Plants are carefully unloaded and placed where I requested.

Experience is hit and miss. I think they’re trying to upgrade their operations. Proceed at your own risk. When the plants arrive in good shape, it’s a win. When the plants need a lot of your attention and fussing over, it’s a disappointing and frustrating experience.

Horrible quality plant and even worse customer service

I was extremely disappointed with my order from plantclearance.com. I received an Azalea that arrived severely stressed and completely dehydrated. I reached out to their customer service team expecting a replacement or a refund for the plant, but their only response was to "just water it."
For the price paid, I expected a healthy plant, not a resuscitation project. Telling a customer to water a plant that arrived in this condition is a complete brush-off. Save your money and buy from a nursery that actually stands behind the quality of their plants. I won’t be shopping here again and neither should you.

Ordering plants from this website was HORRIBLE. AVOID.

Ordering plants from this website was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. The company does not deliver according to the timelines on their website, greatly delaying my project, then the company simply forgot a plant and their customer service rep (owner?) George said sorry bud, not my problem. You'll get the plant whenever it is convenient for me. Weeks passed and I had been lied to several times about a delivery date. Their company is horribly run, takes no accountability for mistakes, and does not care about the customer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE.

I had one of the worst online shopping…

I had one of the worst online shopping experiences with PlantClearance.com. After placing an order for plants, my order sat in “Awaiting Fulfillment” status for over two weeks with no communication. Finally, when I managed to get a callback, I was told that delivery would only happen if I paid a minimum of $300—something that was never disclosed upfront.

This company wasted my time, tied up my money, and showed zero professionalism. No updates, no transparency, and then a sudden, outrageous delivery demand. It feels like a bait-and-switch tactic.

If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid PlantClearance.com at all costs. There are plenty of reputable plant retailers out there—this is not one of them.

Not even worth a 1-star review

If I could have left a -5 star review, that would still not describe how bad this company is at communication and customer service. We have waited 2 months for getting on their delivery schedule since we are slightly outside of their "standard" delivery area. We finally had to cancel our order through our credit card company. We wish we would have read the reviews here for the company before we purchased. They have a lot of unhappy customers talking about poor communication and low-quality products.

Do not order plants from them

I would not recommend this company. Last year we were landscaping our front yard and needed a lot of plants so I found them and thought it would be cheaper than our local nursery. Once order placed, they never got back to us. I called them, always on voice mail with a text in the second after "text us". Felt like a scam. I texted them several times to have news. They never answered. After two weeks with not updates I really thought we got scammed. Until I told them I called my bank to tell them they are a scam and cancel the money transfer. Magically, they answered in the hour and gave us a delivery date in the week.

Plants arrived, ok not a scam, we were relieved... Until we saw how the plants looked like. Some where broken, some where dead or in really bad shape. We had to go buy some replacement at our local nursery because a few didn't survive. I contacted them about that and guess what? Never got an answer, by phone, text, email, nothing! I also tried to write a review on their website, they never allowed the review to appear.

Poor communication, poor work ethic and poor plants quality. I regret going trough them. And it actually wasn't really much cheaper than Lowe's or local nursery. I do not recommend at all!
