The shutters are great and the installer and person who measured up was equally friendly and helpful.
Installation was done quickly and efficiently by a very affable installer with no mess at all.
My only negative feedback would be the time lag in between ordering and delivery. My shutters were made in China hence the delay.

Excellent customer experience!
I lost one of the magnets on my shutters and asked the Natasha if I could have another one. She searched for all the different magnets they had and promised to send me a selection. Of course, I assumed that it would never happen, but their customer service is so good that the magnets arrived free of charge and were exactly what I needed. Best customer experience I have had in a very long time. Excellent company (and the shutters still look great 3 years on from fitting).

Helpful and friendly
I approached the company after one of my children managed to snap a shutter slat off! They were very friendly and helpful, and even offered to send some slat pins free of charge in case I could fix it myself before paying for a new one. Wish me luck!

Plantation Shutters made and fitted two sets of shutters for me and the overall experience was excellent. I ordered the shutters through Krisztina Deutsch who was exceptionally competent, charming and helpful. The fitting was highly efficient, the quality of the product was very high and the cost was reasonable. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Lovey product
We've had a 3-sided large bay window in a Victorian house done and are delighted with the finished result.
We had all round a very good experience. The surveyor was excellent, very thorough and not at all pushy - his background was fitting not sales. He explained all issues that were likely to arise (including the need for us to remove our sash lifts) and all the different options of which there are quite a few. I was concerned about how the frame would look sitting inside our architrave but needn't have worried - it looks great and in keeping.
We had a minor bit of snagging after the fitting and our fitter came back and sorted it the following day despite not working in the area that day.
Delivery time was 14 weeks rather than the quoted 8-12weeks at order but we had been warned that it might slip so didn't mind.
Office team were always helpful and responsive.
Two things we were less keen on ....
... discounts are misleading: We ordered at a time of 'up to 15%' but got only 7% as it is not on the total bill only the product. Installation and delivery are itemised separately and not discounted.
... A price match was offered but when we presented a cheaper quote, which was for almost the same product bar a difference in the frame, I felt that there was an element of trying to somewhat discredit it by saying that the louvres were not wood - in fact, they were also Paulownia. A small discount was offered and as we preferred the frame design, we took it. No regrets.
All and all we are delighted with the service and product and would happily recommend.

Good price, more options than some companies, professional and communicative throughout. Supplied paper blinds (which were suprisingly effective/smart) for temporary privacy, and the finished product looks great - bay window.

Sadly my experience was not great.
Sadly my experience was not great.
I am an interior designer and have used them previously for the exact same type of full height shutters to be used as a bi-folding room divider. They were great previously. This time it has been a disaster.
I use them as they sell themselves as a bespoke shutter company, which means they will make them to MY requirements. On this occasion the agent who was supposed to meet me at the site to measure and quote, had already been and measured even though he had no idea what I had planned. I came in and explained to him the new design and he agreed.
Then he send me lots of measurements . These were not the measurements for the shutters I had asked for. They were made and I had completed the rest of the project only waiting for the shutters to be installed. When they arrived , he had decided he knew better than me and made them larger and would need to be set back into my newly created media wall which would involve chopping up teh newly done shelves and cupboards. They blamed me for not checking measurements. They also said I would need to re-place the order at full cost if I wanted them the size I requested in the first place.
To crown it all , my builder said he would adjust things and make it work, I asked for them to simply deliver the shutters as they are, they refused and said we would need to collect them ourselves from their warehouse.
APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I will never use them again and would urge anyone not to either.
