Thank you for your review. That's sad to hear! I checked which foil you ordered. Both foils have an adhesive layer. However, it is protected by a protective sheet. If you remove this, the adhesive layer will appear.
This can sometimes be a bit difficult because it is very thin. Using two pieces of adhesive tape makes it easier. You stick these on each side with the foil in between. If you then remove the adhesive tapes from each other, the protective sheet will also come with it.

The window film came absolutely nothing like the photo and they have very sketchy return policies. I wouldn’t recommend at all.

Defective product
I ordered contact paper to cover all my kitchen cabinets (4,5m of roll).
Applying the paper was easy and the result looked good until I arrived at the last part of the roll which was defective.
The roll was warped. Sticking it took about 3 times longer than for the other cabinets and it is full of creases and air bubbles. I had to make cuts into it to make it lie flat. It looks terrible, and the difference with the other cabinets (covered with the good part of the roll) is obvious.
I first tried to resolve this with Plakfoliewebshop directly, sending ample evidence of defect, but they refuse to take responsibility because I pointed this out after 14 days of receiving the product.
I did check the roll after receiving it, the first 2 meters were fine, and to me it was fair to assume the rest of the roll was as well. I did not think I was expected to unroll 4,5m of roll to verify. Even then I would have not been able to identify the problem as it simply looked like the roll had be "squashed" during packaging/transport.
All in all, very disappointing experience.

Great idea, but not a great product
The idea is great and the delivery was fast, but I'm not very satisfied with the window insulating covers. The adhesive tape is not strong enough and doesn't stick well. This means that in a day or two after applying it onto our windows, the tape started to get loose. So, it's time consuming to assemble, but it doesn't yield long-lasting results.

Thank you for your review. That's annoying to hear! Did you stick the tape to the window frames? This foil has to be applied differently than regular foil.
Have you followed the manual steps and the video shown with the product? These explain exactly how the foil should be applied.
Hopefully you can still neatly stick it on the foil with the help of this. We apologize for the inconvenience!
