Without doubt the must-do geocaching event of the year. 2026 was the tenth annual event that I attended.

Without doubt the must-do geocaching event of the year. 2026 was the tenth annual event that I attended.
Everyone is so friendly. Such fun.
Absolutely brilliant 5 days... the friendly atmosphere is so good, everyone chats, everyone is in a good mood, the crew are helpful, disco and entertainment second to none. Love this event and Kelmarsh Hall was a fantastic location. Roll on next year - the best geocaching event by far
Great camping event for the geocaching community. Caches a plenty fun activities and like minded fun people from far and wide.
The best Geocaching Event out there, Fantastic entertainment, felt safe and secure while on site, some great Geocaching trails and a brilliant Mega day. Committee and volunteers did a first class job.
This year our crew of four had an amazing adventure at Kelmarsh Hall. Lots of fun and entertaining activities, great food, fab music and games for the kids too. Meeting up with friends we make each year is a highlight, losing the quiz is a given. ( bring back up next year). We get the post camp blues once home and have started planning for next year already. Thank you.
It is my go to event of the year. Much fun, family friendly and when else do you get to dress as a pirate and wander round an English village or town, confusing the locals and shouting arrr!? Challenges, auctions, camping, flags... The list goes on
I'm not sure why it was so low, I guess the limited number of reviews? A great Geocaching event well run by a friendly committee!
this years event at Kelmarch was the best one yet, I'm a repeat attender and already planning 2027!
Outstanding event in a new location every year. An amazing group of people create a brilliant atmosphere for every attendee and it shows. A very enjoyable weekend to be had by one and all.
Geocaching's Mega Piratemania goes from strength to strength, and I think this year's event at Kelmarsh Hall was exceptional.
How the crew manage to put in so much effort for the enjoyment of all those attending has to be experienced to be believed.
Long may Piratemania continue, in many ports.
Fantastic day, well organised by friendly crew, lots to do and plenty of caches to wander around.
The Piratemania event has been running for 18 years and gets better every year this years event in Kelmarch Northampton was amazing with plenty of caches to find and lots of activities to get involved in
