This is my second experience of dealing with PHPJabbers having just bought another program from them. This program has been tailored exactly to suit my needs. I am extremely satisfied with the service I receive both from customer support and from the coders themselves. When you bring an issue to them they fully understand what it is you need and always make a great effort to ensure that you get what you want. Terrible coding practices; only expect support if you're willing to pay for it.

Code quality: well they save passwords in encrypted (not hashed form) and the encryption key in the config-files so far from best practices or secure.

They tamper proof their code so when you find bugs or issues and want to fix it yourself is blocked (unless you really want to reverse engineer their crap).

No support during weekends.

As long as it works it is kind of fine but if you have a budget; pick something else.

Background: The script broke when our ISP updated PHP to a newer version which triggered deprecation warnings (on a method that had been discouraged since 2012; we bought the script 2017). The deprecation warnings crashed the script making it unusable. PHP-jabber support was slow to respond as this happened close to the weekend, we tried to remove the deprecated code ourselves which triggered an anti-tamper behavior (we have the developer license but are still blocked form some changes). Recovering from the change was very troublesome.

We got good service once this review was published.

I am using phpjabbers scripts now ,the quality of the scripts are great and the service support is fabulous.

Used this firm on several occassions for php script. Never disappointed.

I have integrated 2 scripts into our website, event booking and shopping cart. PHPjabbers have always been very helpful and make the process as stress free for a technophobe like me. Can't recommend high enough and great value also!

I have used phpjabbers since 5 years or so, and have always been impressed with the quality of their scripts and support.
They have been constantly updating their code, and their framework.
One specific advantage i like is the fact that their scripts are made in a way that allows you to install as a widget on your web site anywhere you like and maintain the overall look and feel of your site. This way you are not restricted by the script design or UI as it is the case with most other scripts you find online.
Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with our experience with them and highly recommend them for your projects.

The PHPJabbers scripts are excellent and the support if fantastic. I have enjoyed their products and support for over 10 years. They have always been very responsive and on spot with their support. I highly recommend them and their products.

I really like the products and services that I have received from Stivasoft. I have had very few problems with the scripts. When I did have a small problem or question they were answered by support very quickly. I must admit through that any of the problems or questions that I had were almost always user related. I've just finished setting up my booking calendar with the script provided by PHPJabbers. I'm not a scripter AT ALL and was pretty daunted by the project, but they have been superb. I've not actually experienced such a great support service before. I can count on their replies more than I can count on my own husband! They have been tremendous in responding so quickly to all of my many questions, and very patient with me. Would highly recommend :-).

**UPDATE** : Ok, so it seems there was a bit of a mis-communication here. Firstly, it *does* have a CAPTCHA - but it seems the spammers who are attacking our site have found a way around it :( Secondly, I have been working with them via ticket to get the issue dealt with via a "block keywords" feature - and they have been very helpful. As such, I have tweaked my review (but left the original in place for clarity). Thanks!

While most of the program is ok - it seems they don't care about spammers on the review system! I contacted them to ask for an update that would block spammers with reCAPTCHA or similar - but they basically said: "Tough, you gotta buy a new version or pay for a custom modification". In this day and age, its not acceptable to have no anti-spam protection in your scripts. I've now got to write a whole system myself to replace this script, as its not fit for purpose any more due to the amounts of spam we are getting on it!
