Sadly my picture (using the code) wasn't accepted by the on-line passport service because it was difficult to separate the subject from the background.

Printed photo nothing like on screen: background grades from dark grey up to white, really bright on the top and shadows underneath. 100% SCAM

Deletes photo after 30 days.
In the smallest print possible it tells you after 30 days your photo is deleted and unavailable.

Avoid at all costs. The digital photos do not work. No way to contact the company. No way to get a refund. 5 days of wasted time.... argh... omg this was awful experience

I would give a minus 5 star if I could. What a total waste of £10.
I got my photos done and it didn’t accept the code. I tried about 6 times and didn’t realise I only had 30 days.
As if we have £10’s to lose just like that.
Another lesson learned I suppose.

Multiple pics and no successful up load to the authorities, how too a lot of money quickly even when the picture is compliant!!!!

Photo-me offers a digital version of your photo, but absolutely nowhere does it explain you can only download it as part of the passport application process. You can't simply download the photo from their website to use as you need. What about other forms of ID you might want it for? Purposefully vague messaging and a waste of £10.

If you think you will get digital photo then you are wrong! You can download the photo when applying for passport, but the quality drops rapidly.
£10 well spent, never again!

Don't use it you pay for service and you can't even download the picture.
And service for Reneval DrivingService - does NOT allow to enter code. So if you want to skip the headached simply AVOID IT!

Passport photo obtained and checked PhotoMe booth rejected by online application system. Complete waste of time and money!

Problem started when I wanted to access my digital photos. The website wasn't responding to major browsers citing server issue; possibly security certificate not updated. Helpline quoted on image sheet refers you to another website. ME Company website chat bot takes your email and then closes the conversation. Three strikes NO. No human interaction.

They delete your photos after a month, so if you need it after that you can't get it.

I contacted their customer service and they said you can download the thumbnail and use that, but it's not the real image and nothing accepts this.

Absolutely no reason not to just give you the photo you paid for, just seems like a scheme to offer worse service for more money. Never using them again.

AN ABSOLUTELY POINTLESS LITTLE CUBICLE OF MISERY. This stupid and irritating contraption is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. It is programmed to never accept any photo as useable so it leaves you having to chance it(which i didn't), USE an app or visit a studio,

Horrible experience. They overcharge for basic photos and label them as “digital photos” that you can download, yet conveniently fail to mention that you cannot actually download them. The digital code only works on government websites, which is completely misleading. Scam, do not use.

Promise a vat via email and they won't send one, terrible customer service and shoddy attitude

They don't offer a digital copy of your photo. I emailed them and they said they don't even have access to them (which is clearly not true, given they can provide them to the gov passport service). What a complete rip off and scam.

Confusing options to work with. Paid 10 quid for not being able to access my own picture's soft copy.

the machine is not easy to use. then kept rejecting my card and eventually charged me £20 instead of £10 all this took about 15 - 20 minutes
