Wake Up call is in order....
Never had a problem with Phoenix Nutrition. The owner or whoever he is, definitely a bellend with a chip on his shoulder for some reason, but i cannot complain about their products as i'm not stupid enough to buy adaptogens and herbal extracts going for this little money from any seller. Most of these bad reviews seem to be either about the customer service, or their adaptogens and herbal extracts. In regards to the latter, most adaptogens and herbal extracts sold by british supplement companies on Amazon and Ebay are fake. Yes, fake. Even so called reputable brands with british pharmacopia behind them like Vitabiotics. For instance, do you have any idea how much a kilogram of panax ginseng root costs? There is no way any company could be selling 40:1 extracts of it standardised to 20% ginsenosides for less than a tenner. That's just not logical. You want to blame Phoenix Nutrition, but the people at fault are the Chinese suppliers making these claims in the first place and putting it on the COA's, and you for buying them. If you continue to buy them, Phoenix Nutrition will continue to stock them. Their peace of mind however naive comes from the COA(they claim 3rd party testing, but that's definitely a load of rubbish). I agree for sure. Phoenix Nutrition is 100% not selling genuine panax ginseng, gingko biloba, milk thistle etc. It is a logical impossibility at that price to sell panax as one example for this little money(proper panax extracts standardised to ginsenosides are more likely to start at about £30, but their vitamins etc are of very high quality. I've been buying their MK-7, MK-4, and B vitamins for ages and i have no complaints.
So to summarise: stop being a divvy and thinking you are going to get herbal extracts that have rigorous 3rd party testing and standardisation verified by chromatography for a pittance. This scenario does not exist in any reality. 3rd party testing is expensive to do, batch testing is a considerable cost to the company, 3rd party analysis of specific extracts requires actual labs with actual scientists. Some rinky-dink operation in Wales aint it, but that's ok. In an ideal world Phoenix Nutrition would stop selling those fake supplements, but we both know that aint going to happen, unless you vote with your wallet
If you want what is on the label from a UK based company, i would stick with brands like Mind Nutrition, Viridian, Biocare, Vitality Pro, and Epigenetics. Notice they all have something in common? Yep. Not cheap
Quality costs especially when it concerns extracts
