Buyer beware

Buyer beware - fake and low quality. I would not use again or recommend.

I ordered their zinc and selenium vitamins. They don’t work. They are poor quality and possibly fake. They smell rancid.

I normally buy from Oxford vitality but decided to try phoenix nutrition. What a complete waste of money. There is a reason why they are so cheap!!

I tried to return unopened packages as per their returns info on their website. I emailed them several times but they’ve completely ignored my emails.

They clearly only want your money.

Stay away from this company unless you want to become sick taking fake vitamins full of chemicals. Don’t believe the ingredients list.

Wake Up call is in order....

Never had a problem with Phoenix Nutrition. The owner or whoever he is, definitely a bellend with a chip on his shoulder for some reason, but i cannot complain about their products as i'm not stupid enough to buy adaptogens and herbal extracts going for this little money from any seller. Most of these bad reviews seem to be either about the customer service, or their adaptogens and herbal extracts. In regards to the latter, most adaptogens and herbal extracts sold by british supplement companies on Amazon and Ebay are fake. Yes, fake. Even so called reputable brands with british pharmacopia behind them like Vitabiotics. For instance, do you have any idea how much a kilogram of panax ginseng root costs? There is no way any company could be selling 40:1 extracts of it standardised to 20% ginsenosides for less than a tenner. That's just not logical. You want to blame Phoenix Nutrition, but the people at fault are the Chinese suppliers making these claims in the first place and putting it on the COA's, and you for buying them. If you continue to buy them, Phoenix Nutrition will continue to stock them. Their peace of mind however naive comes from the COA(they claim 3rd party testing, but that's definitely a load of rubbish). I agree for sure. Phoenix Nutrition is 100% not selling genuine panax ginseng, gingko biloba, milk thistle etc. It is a logical impossibility at that price to sell panax as one example for this little money(proper panax extracts standardised to ginsenosides are more likely to start at about £30, but their vitamins etc are of very high quality. I've been buying their MK-7, MK-4, and B vitamins for ages and i have no complaints.

So to summarise: stop being a divvy and thinking you are going to get herbal extracts that have rigorous 3rd party testing and standardisation verified by chromatography for a pittance. This scenario does not exist in any reality. 3rd party testing is expensive to do, batch testing is a considerable cost to the company, 3rd party analysis of specific extracts requires actual labs with actual scientists. Some rinky-dink operation in Wales aint it, but that's ok. In an ideal world Phoenix Nutrition would stop selling those fake supplements, but we both know that aint going to happen, unless you vote with your wallet

If you want what is on the label from a UK based company, i would stick with brands like Mind Nutrition, Viridian, Biocare, Vitality Pro, and Epigenetics. Notice they all have something in common? Yep. Not cheap

Quality costs especially when it concerns extracts

Appalling company and service

Appalling company and service.
This is the email i got from them...

""Wind your neck in, you sound like a little girl with sand in her knickers. It is not our fault Royal Mail was so unreliable in this instance, the option was there to upgrade the shipping service, but you choose not to.
Kind regards
James
Customer Service Team
Phoenix Nutrition.
Ordered products, 2-3 delivery or extra £1.99 for 2 day delivery. They ignored an email asking where the products were on day 4. Day 6 they finally replied to a second email. Eventually by day 7 agreed to a refund. 3 hours later they are delivered by RM, 7 days after order. I do the correct thing and inform them of delivery. Straight away replied they've cancelled the refund but i can send them back if i don't want them. Last time i did this i had to package up and pay for return postage, so i informed that I'm not going to the hassle of returning but i won't be using their company again, and the reply above is what i got. Well, i used to buy quite a few products for my clients or recommend them and bought via amazon or ebay. No more buying or recommending. I know the customer is NOT always right but not in this case, phoenix...just appalling...

Fake supplement and seller never answered my emails

Bought ginseng tablets directly from his website advertised as being 2000 mg 20% ginsenoids, so quite a high strength.....no effect whatsoever even taking two of them. Wrote two times to the seller, never gotten a response. Money gone and who knows what there is for real in the tablets. AVOID STRICTLY

Great value

I’ve been buying from Phoenix for a few years and I’ve been highly satisfied. My orders always arrive very promptly and well packaged. Phoenix products are great value and I’ve been very happy with the efficient service

Used multiple times incl large orders, always happy

I've ordered several times and never had any problems. That means I can't comment on customer service -- but some of the complaints posted here do seem to be strange (e.g. going to Trustpilot to complain about a price increase and the company giving a perfectly rational response?) This has led to an unfair score IMO. As for me, I'd much sooner support a reliable independent UK supplier, than give my money to Amazon.

The poor reviews speak for themselves.

The poor reviews speak for themselves.
Dreadful customer services.
I queried once why their 10% off voucher was invalid and the response I received was terrible.
They act like they are doing the customer a favour by selling their products them.
They actually told me to shop elsewhere if I wasn't happy.
I don't need to be told that twice.
BYE BYE Phoenix Nutrition !!!
I just go elsewhere now.
Even if I pay a a little bit more I know I'm getting a better service & product.

Highly recommended

Received the wrong product. Contacted the team and received a response by 1 working day. Issue was rectified. Good communication and customer service. Above all the products are high quality for a reasonable price.

Dire Customer Service

Purchased Vitamin D and K2 from this Company via eBay for past 2/3 years.
When i attempted to purchase again 3/11/20 I wrote to the supplier asking for an explanation/evidence into their sudden and hefty £4.00 price increase from £7.99 to £11.99? When inflation was only 0.5%?
I was informed they did not have to justify it and suggested I shop elsewhere
So I did and purchased the EXACT same product for £8.33.
Their customer service acumen is an utter disgrace!

Great products, poor customer service

Great products. Very poor customer service. Sent an item back as no longer needed. Haven't received any refund, although I contacted them with proof of postage if required. They said they will refund the money as soon as they will receive it, haven't head anything since. Shame as no company who respects their customers will act this way.

Disgusting treatment by this company!!!

Absolutely disgusting treatment of their customers. I have been accused of being a thief when I never received a product - the delivery company confirm it has been sent to an incorrect address by mistake. Not my fault!
This company have called me a liar and a thief. AVOID!!!

My most favourite supplement company of all. So 6/5 STARS!

Fantastic company and it just keeps getting better!

They keep adding more & better quality products all the time (and occasionally ditching the right ones!).

I'm 'chuffed' that they now only use the 'active' B-Vitamins B2, B6, Folate & B12 in their most potent supplements! For me, this doesn't only mean better-absorbed vitamins, which your body can instantly process (being already active & ready to use) but it also seems to help avoid some of the unwanted side effects of some of them (ie, P-5-P B6 which doesn't seem to cause any numbness of the extremities which I have experienced with even moderate amounts of pyridoxine hydrochloride. Same goes for their Methyl-Folate, while the standard Folic Acid is known to make allergies worse for some individuals, including myself).
They now only use the Methylated/active forms in both their Optimum B-Complex AND their Daily Essentials Multi-Vitamin (with Minerals).
The majority of their supplements contain BioPerine, a branded Black Pepper extract which enhances the absorption of almost all supplements, including herbs & amino acids, etc.

Should you require high doses of a particular nutrient, they have it!
Vitamins: 5 or 10,000iu pre-formed Vitamin A (Retinol Acetate), K2 (both MK4 &/or MK7 at high doses) and B12 & Biotin each at 1mg!
Minerals: 30mg Zinc (Picolinate), a whole 1mg Chromium Picolinate(!) and 3mg Copper (as Bisglycinate). All nutrients come as highly absorbable forms.
They also have a neat handful of potent Nootropics. The list goes on! Go check them out.
