Scam. Don't buy from these guys. They take your money, then won't send the product. Once they have your phone number and email they will not respond. The only way I got them to answer was by calling from a blocked number. They refused to give my money back and I had to get the bank involved.

You'd think a company that has God-awful reviews at EVERY review site, would not be in business very long. I now know better.

Should have checked before I placed my order... then I wouldn't have been out $341.

If you order something that's in stock, you'l likely get what you paid for. But if it's a special order item... fuggetabout it!

Placed an order for a special-order part, "RC Components Billet Belt Pulley-Nitro Polished-72 Tooth" back in July 2018.
Would take 6-8 weeks production time.
They charged my card in full right away and then never delivered.
They kept telling me that the manufacturer was backlogged. But when I called the manufacturer RC Components they told me those pullies are ready in about 2 weeks, not 6 to 8... And that they never got an order from Phat Performance for my pulley!

Manager Terry has emailed me several times he processed a refund, nut of course nothing has shown up. Total liar.
It's now May 2019 and I've given up hope of ever seeing the pulley I paid for.
Phat Performance Parts has now become my pet project and I will do my share to try and drive them out of business.
BBB and California Attorney General's office are doing their part.

Buyer beware!!! I purchased an air ride system on Feb. 26th. The website says 2-5 days to receive it. It still has not been shipped out a month and a half later! I called multiple times and they rarely answer. When they do, they always tell me they have to check with the owner. One person finally told me that it will be sent out within 2 weeks. Which means it would be another 3 weeks go get it! I told them to cancel my order and was told to send an email in to cancel and it will be posted back to paypal in 2 days. I filled it out over a week ago and did NOT receive a response back and my money was NOT sent back to paypal on this $800.00 purchase!! I put in a dispute through paypal and they still haven't responded back to paypal. I finally went and purchased from another vendor who responds back and sent my product out to me. I'm still waiting for my $800 to be refunded back but they don't respond!! I wished I would've looked at all of the negative complaints with the same exact issues before making this purchase!!!!

This company did not order parts from the manufacturer that they charged me for over seven weeks ago. The owner claimed over four weeks ago that he had ordered from the manufacturer, but the manufacturer rep says that never happened. That matches the clear pattern happening with this business that's evident from their BBB complaints and reviews here.

I probably won't get my hundreds of dollars back. Don't make the mistake I did; stay away from this business.

This review is opinion, but I can support all claims with documentation.

TERRY RAUPP is the owner of this SCAM company. Ordered an in stock item. Paid for 2 day shipping. The part still has not shipped. Called 3 times and talked to Shawn, John. Each time I’m told call back after 5 to speak with the owner. They have voice mail come on at 5. They say they email the owner and he is the only one who can do anything. Spoke with the manufacturer who said this company has no on hand stock and is on COD only for items. So you order from them. They use your money to order from manufacture then ship to you. If they even do that. In my case they didn’t.

BEWARE...THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Takes your money and then sends you a order confirmation. Then you never hear from them. Will not answer emails. Sales phone number is no longer operational. Call the support number and it only rings. No one ever answers. Notified PayPal and will somehow hopefully get my money back. Also have filled a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Needs to be shut down. SCAMMERS....

Never receive items. Card is billed immediately even if items haven't shipped. never receive item shipped email. Call and guy on phone claims will receive an email in regards to order. Never receive that. Try to call back and phone rings off hook. So in the end have to dispute charge on card.
Extremely unprofessional company!! BBB has 35 complaints against them.

I ordered from phat performance over 3 WEEKS Ago. Nobody answers the phone on either of their 2 lines and can't get a call back after leaving several messages. Check order site is Unsecured. I will never order from here again !

ordered CFR mufflers in Feb 2018, they said could take 3 to 6 months to get. No problem, these were mufflers wanted. Aug 2018 no mufflers, started making calls and got all kinds of excuses, a guarantee their being shipped. Did not happen. After cancelling order in Sept, had to make more phone calls why monies not credited back, even told over phone it was done. Now twice by email told it was done, STILL not done. BBB has been contacted along with Visa doing a investigation for what that's worth. Dec still not seen 649.95. How can they get away with this?

If you think the prices are to good to be true you are right, If you buy from these guys you are going to have a bad time. I'm down $900 for a part they advertise, don't stock and cannot source. Cannot get a refund as they don't answer emails or communicate. I'd rather spend a weekend at a hotel run by the Taliban than try another purchase through Phat performance. Run far, Run fast!!

have been waiting 29 days for a seat I ordered that was to take 14 to 21 days. No one returns my emails or phone calls. I was told it was being made by Lepera, I called Lepera and the have no record of the order. I called Phat again and the person told me owner would call me back. He did not. I called again after 3 hour because they were closing. When I asked for the seat or a refund I was told he couldn't help me and that I had to send a email for a refund and that refunds were only done on Sunday. They SUCK!

Ordered clutch parts that were listed "in stock" and typically ships same day. That was now going on five days ago and still no shipment. Also no response to my email asking about shipment and, of course, no response to my telephone call that went to voice mail. I'd have purchased from another vendor but didn't because it was listed as a quick shipment. I tried to cancel but their system wouldn't allow it because my order was too far along in the process. Too far along?? Pick up the box with your hands put it in a box, label it and ship it...too far along my behind. That was two days ago and it still hasn't shipped.

A week went by and no clutch parts, no comms from seller so I telephoned...again and again. Finally spoke to John who said the owner is working with the manufacturer to get the parts and I can talk to the owner. Really?? I told him to just cancel the clutch. No can do over the phone. I need to send an email. Really?? cuz you were just going to have me talk to the owner about his business with the manufacturer. I sent a cancellation email and asked for a confirm. Nothing. A week goes by and send another asking for a confirm. Nothing. Get the charge card bill and I'm charged for the merchandise. Now I'm jumping through hoops with the credit card company proving that i cancelled the clutch. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR UNLESS YOU WANT SLOW SHIPPING AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.

I despise being lied to. There is absolutely no place for a company to repeatedly lie about shipping an order in today's market.

I guess it's time to file a claim as its been over thirty days and I'm still being told 'two weeks', 'next week', or 'tomorrow' or whatever pops into their mind at the time.

Phat Performance Parts was exceptionally quick to take my money, wish they had a little bit of that motivation to actually ship products.

I bought a stereo for $315 which was 20% cheaper than the competition. I tested their new site to get the 7% discount and called Jensen as their sales guys are too lazy to do it.....then gave them the info I'd obtained to allow them to sell to more people since they can now say that it fits almost all Harleys 98 to 2013.

Next minute I get an email from the boss telling me the price was supposed to be nearly $650 which is waaaaaay more expensive than the competition.

I get that people make mistakes, but own your mistakes. I just helped these guys both improve their advert, test their new site AND fix a pricing error but he repays me by offering the same 'price match' almost everyone does; for wasting my time. No thanks, I will give my business to the most competitive company that bothers to tell me the stereo will fit my bike instead of wasting my time, canceling a valid order without even asking and then expecting to charge an insane price.

I called Jensen customer support and they told me that this will work with the 1998 Electra Glide Classic FLHTC so you might want to update your listing to make more sales.

They said the wiring and thumb controls are compatible but the auto volume down when slowing down will not work (which I don't care about)

Thanks for your reply; but isn't that against consumer rights?

You were $100 cheaper than the next cheapest supplier; but now you are about $200 more expensive.

I'd prefer you just honor the price after all the messing around including testing your new web site and sitting on a line waiting for info from Jensen for ages........which you can now apply to your advert to net you more sales. It was definitely an inconvenience so would rather not cancel.

I am sorry Craig, internet companies are exempt from price rules as they list hundreds of thousands of items are at given time. I am sorry for the mistake but we are not able to ship at the original price as it was a mitake. Were happy to match the lowest price you can find on this time as long as it list the correct MSRP of $650ish. Let us know. T

I'd rather give the business to the person with the fair prices, next to one lone seller on Ebay, you are by far the most expensive, so it would be both unfair to other sellers ......and myself given my time I've wasted that you don't seem to have any regard for.

Thanks for your polite tone, but I'd rather you were rude but fair. As a business owner myself, I think sometimes it is better to take the hit but you are obviously a different kind.
