MITER purchased PGT purchased CGI
PGT purchased CGI. We have CGI glass in our new home. The glass is defective. PGT, now owned by MITER, is honoring replacement of sashes and window glass. We had 98% of our glass replaced last Monday. Two pieces of glass were delivered wrong sizing. One double slider, which needed to be totally replaced, has a huge imperfection in one glass panel. The installers must have seen it when cleaning but chose to ignore and complete their job. Now the runaround begins again. No promised call back from dispatcher to send a rep to inspect the defected glass.
The company also doesn't inform owner that if plantation shutters are installed, it's the owner's responsibility to remove the shutter and replace. Four lower sashes could not be replaced due to the shutters and unable to be removed.
