Marika just cleaned my 13 year old Jack Russel Terrier's teeth and I'm so pleased. She's done an infinitely better job than my vet did - no sedation, no anaesthetic and at £60 is £540 cheaper! I wo... See more

I always have exceptional service from Angela at the Chiswick branch. She is knowledgeable, pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The Chiswick branch is a joy to look around, standards are high with the presentation of items all perfectly lined up. Saffa, my dog, was made welcome and he was given a treat to try as I didn’t know the product.
Angela saved the advent calendars I wanted to buy, and was given a haloween toy, recognising customer retention, knowing I will spend money on other products in future.

The best dental cleaning!
When my Parsons’s Jack Russell, ‘Splash’ met canine dentist-extraordinaire, Marika Mariutti at Kings Road, Pet Pavilion, her teeth were yellow and drenched in plague. Inspecting her, Marika said ‘no problem’ and to be patient. Each visit was transformative and one year on, following visits every three months, Splashy’s teeth are immaculate - clean, white and free of nasty toxin-forming plague. What’s ‘remarkable’ (the vet’s word at a recent health check), is Splashy is 13 ½ …For every owner who has been told by their vet that canine teeth cleaning can only be performed under a general anaesthetic… think again. Ultrasonic teeth cleaning is pain free, drug free and impressive. And Marika is the best, most lovely practictioner. Woof! 🐾😘

I had a warm and friendly experience in the Chiswick branch of PP, particularly with Angela and Apollos, who with their expertise guided me in the right direction as I had a recently adopted a puppy.
I will definitely visit there again.😊
Great pet shop
Always friendly and helpful when I pop in on my dog walks for some mid walk snacks. Also their grooming services are some of the best we’ve experienced with our 4 dogs. Our Pomeranian has a full groom and always comes out glorious and our dachshund has her teeth cleaned with maximum care.

Disappointed and a little angry
Disappointed and a little angry. I took my dog in for a groom last Friday on King's Road and was quoted £85. I requested my dog be brushed thoroughly as his coat is changing and requested his nails be cut and the hair below his paws be trimmed, I was then told it would cost £120 - fine.
After almost three hours I picked up my dog and was told the hair under his paws couldn't be trimmed as my dog was too fussy and the groomer then proceeded to lecture me on the merits of the type of collar I was using. I had informed the groomer my dog had a cut along his neck (he was misbehaving a couple weeks ago and when I grabbed him by his collar he wriggled and it got caught/twisted and rubbed against his skin creating a graze). However, after the groom the groomer started to question whether the prong collar I was using was even legal and how it had caused the graze and I shouldn't be using it. I informed the groomer that a trainer had suggested I use it as I had tried a constricting harness and slip lead and the prong collar was the only thing that was working with a 35kg German Shepherd.
The prong collar is designed to cause discomfort to the dog when the collar is tightened, if the dog tries to pull for example. But it is used as a way to correct a dogs behaviour, a slight pull corrects the dog. It is more humane than a choke collar, as the prong cannot tighten indefinitely as it stops tightening at a certain point. The links can also be adjusted to fit the width of your dogs neck.
However, the groomer started to question the validity of the prong, whether it was legal and how it had caused the wound to my dog. Despite the wound being on the back of the neck where the prongs are not. At this point, the groomer would not even hand the collar back to me and suggested I use one of their slip leads instead. I then grabbed the collar from the groomer and put it in my pocket. At this point one of the shop assistants, noticing the tension, came over to show me the types of slip leads they had. Because of the entire experience I felt a little pressured into buying one, despite knowing it would not work. But having basically been told the prong collar was a problem, probably illegal and being made to feel as I was causing my dog pain, I bought the slip lead for £34 and left.
I also noticed my dog's coat did not look properly brushed. Whilst he looked fluffy, I could see bits of his old coat still showing and the hair came out in my hand very easily. So I am not entirely sure how thoroughly he was brushed. It's barely been a week and I brushed my dog today and so much hair has come out, only days after spending £120 on a groom!
When I left Pet Pavilion, my dog immediately started to pull and was increasingly hard to control on the high street. I had to take him to a side bench, put the prong collar back on and only then did I have control over my dog again.
The entire experience was a bad one and I was a bit angry; from being accused of using an illegal and inhumane collar to being pressured into buying a slip lead, to not having the hair under my dogs paws trimmed and then realising the groom itself wasn't even proper as his hair was still coming out in my hand.
I would not recommend this groomer to anyone else. I am happy to speak with the owner about my experience and review if they would like.
Very bad grooming service
I was advised by a person I met walking the dog not to use this Pet groomer , I wish I did listen . The dogs are hold in a metal cage , the grooming section is not clean . I did show pictures of the hair cut wanted . The cut was very messy short is some part , long in other , the nails were cut too short and the dog is in pain and feel unstable when doing stairs . When I called for complain they were not apologetic , told me the groomer are freelance, and that , my request for the hair cut was very vague . How my vague request effected a hair cut very messy ? . The dog after the grooming was really upset for over a day , and still in pain due to too short nail cut . I will not anymore stop by Pet Pavillion even to buy treat to my dogs . I wish I never ever took my dog there .

We absolutely love Pet Pavilion
We absolutely love Pet Pavilion. We generally go to the one in Kensington Church Road and it’s always a delighted to be received be Eymie and Huw, always so lovely, knowledgeable and friendly. The products they sell are great and of high quality – we have the wonderful Chelsea nest bed for our Italian Greyhound, who loves it. He also loves going there and enjoy the treats he gets from Eymie and Hew, always very generous with him. Highly highly recommended ❤️
Nice shop chain with lovely people
