Shop around for a better deal.

I wanted to remove an old F&P laundry tub and replace it. I was told Quote 'a straight swap would take about 2-3 hours, not including any pipe or fittings. If any are required they would be extra and would be itemised. We also have a Vehicle/Administration charge of $40 +gst. Therefore it would cost approx. between $240 + gst to 340+gst.' end quote. OK - so taking the high-end quote including gst and vehicle cost that totals about $470. This morning I did the job myself - it took just over 35minutes - not the 2-3 hours quoted. All I can say - is shop around. I'm sure you can find a more honest company.
