Just had our second experience of staying in a cottage on the Penrice Cadtle Estate. Absolutely first class
A lesson in how to run a holiday let. Extremely helpful and friendly booking system, thank you Claire. A personal welcome letter in the cottage. A pack of Penrice Castle coffee, a pack of lovely welsh cakes. a bottle of Penrice Castle apple juice, tea bags, and an invitation to a guided tour of the gardens. This is first class hosting.
Take note National Trust - this is how to manage holiday cottages - and at a considerably lower price. It's the little things that count!

Just amazing! We celebrated with family here and rented several cottages. You cannot go wrong with any of the choices. Claire was wonderful and we received great customer service and help with booking. The hamper food was fantastic. Go! You won’t be disappointed. We cannot wait to return. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful place with us.

Penrice Castle cottages are set in a beautiful location, minutes from the beach. We’ve stayed in a few of the cottages over the last 10 years and they’ve all been clean and cosy with all the amenities you need, including a barbecue for the hot days, and firewood for the cooler ones!

The owners and their team couldn’t be more helpful, and are super fast to respond if you need anything.

The local beach is also owned by Penrice Castle and you get free parking with your stay (normally £5-£10 per day).

You also have access to the castle grounds and gardens, a must for horticultural fans, and there are plenty of dog walks if you plan on bringing your four legged friend. (All the cottages are family and dog friendly, with certain caveats.)

We always thoroughly enjoy our time in Wales and will being going back regularly.
