Happy new client!

I decided to order with Passiontec since they had a very good price for the product that I was looking for. I was very surprised by this company: Perfect service, perfect communication, perfect packaging and very happy with my products! Absolutely will come back to them to order other products, I’m a very happy new client!

Terrible customer care

Placed an order, passiontec sends the wrong product after 6 days. Contacted them, got an external customer care assistant on the phone who couldn't change anything on my order. Sends me a return label and advised me to place an additional order for the same product thus spending twice the amount on a company that wasn't even doing a half decent job of convincing me they could even handle one order correctly. Contacted them by email, insisting they send me the correct product, no response after 2 days.

Payment functionality is confusing

It is difficult to order on the website, no direct payment with bank card possible...only PayPal or pre=payment without an automatic link.

Good price. Fast delivery. Simple.

I was a little suspicious of the site, but it checked out. Overall, GREAT - prices are maximum competitive and dispatched / received very fast. Perfect on the front that really counts!

NOW I GET IT: I set aside the instinct to run from my suspicions, mainly caused by the basic, bedroom brewed cheap looking website (looks like a standard unmodified template that isn't very functional and has some bugs) and almost got put off by the fiddly payment process; but glad I kept going - seems like a company keeping costs down to keep prices down.

BUT WHY 3 STARS?
One star less from me for being cheeky, another for me wasting 15min writing this. Felt like you pulled one over on me when I spent a load of time checking your site, working things out, and when I finally was ready and went to pay... BOOM! You smacked my wallet and challenged my buying rationalisation with a payment fee at the last minute - there's no option to not pay, and I had to use PayPal. Cheeky weasels! I was cheesed off by it - but not enough not to pay it and still a good deal. But come on, sort your charge structures out - why not just make it a 'EUR 7.50 flat shipping' rate or what ever your average between the two payments is to cover the cost. If it truly was 'shipping' then it wouldn't be based on payment method.

Also, company director / manager / head honcho responsible for payments: you might want to check out Payment Services Directive (PSD 2) (EU) 2015/2366. Is that Daniel or Jens, or both? We got this in place to stop payment charge cheekiness: remember low cost airlines, EUR 10 for a flight, then you go through all the hoops, 20min later ready to pay... and WHACK! They slap you with a ridiculous payment fee at the end... that's just not making good customer karma. As far as I can see, PayPal's terms and conditions don't allow this either. I won't mention it to anyone, but you might want to review the law and PayPal T&Cs, and potentially your charge structure. Listing a 'Paypal' cost under 'Shipping fee' headline doesn't make it a shipping fee anymore than me calling myself Director of Passion doesn't make me your boss; the factor influencing it is payment, not a cost variable associated with shipping.

I'll still come back - you might not be the prettiest, but you are the cheapest and good for a quick delivery. Thanks.

EDIT: Came back to make it 5 stars as I like your prices and postage. I don't care what you call things, even if it is dodgy.

Service and cliënt portal not good, Very unproffesional way of treating you’r customers Passiontec ! This sucks bigtime !

Service and cliënt portal not good
Waiting way to long for reaction, not getting wright aswers on questions.
Customer care not good.
Order after waiting far to long is send back by dhl because of disfunction label.
It takes customer service several days to respond back on our urgent questions/e-mails where the order is at and how long it takes to get the ordered product transfereer to us.
Both telephone Numbers at the passiontec site are not reachable and one of the Numbers is not in use !
Very unproffesional way of treating you’r customers Passiontec ! This sucks bigtime !

We have given your package to DHL one day after ordering. According to the delivery service, you were not home and the parcel is now at the DHL ServicePoint near you.
