Easy to use and good pricing. One thing that would be good to add is the ability to see the ParkFri subscription status, and starting or cancelling the subscription from the app.

Parkpark is an app which allows you to pay for parking in Denmark. My poor experience with them has to do with their underhand way of forcing a subscription on the user. I was in Denmark for a short stay, left and uninstalled the app over a month ago and only recently noticed they are still charging a fee for the subscription.

I wanted to pay for parking in Aarhus. I normally used EasyPark and I was always happy with it, but this time it didn't work, so I downloaded ParkPark. I just wanted to pay for this one time but when I got the receipt I realised that there was also a monthly subscription of 29 kr?! Furthermore, I couldn't pay wit my bank card but suddenly I also had a RivertyPay account (never heard of it) which I had to use for the payments?!
Ok, I paid for everything and wanted to delete all those accounts trough the apps, but of courses that didn't work for ParkPark so I sent an email to their customer support and they deleted my account.
Now, almost one month later, I received an email from ParkPark (but the headline says Riverty) with a monthly subscription receipt to pay?! Really, after I received an email almost one month ago that my account was deleted?!

PLEASE DO NOT USE!
I would give it less if that was possible. I tried parking with this app, and firstly i charged me, and then it did not work. App said parking was in order, and then i came bacl to a fine.

I only give one star, because zero stars is not an option. I tried to download the app in May/June with an overseas phone number and it was a total disaster (took 30-40 minutes, functionality was awful). I did eventually manage to download the app, but was unable to initiate the parking, so ended up paying for the parking in machine with credit card instead, i.e. I NEVER used the app. I forget about the subpar app experience, and in the meantime reset my phone and lost access to it, until I (3 months later) receive an email from ParkPark informing me that I have an overdue payment with them. According to them, I had parked some where in Denmark on 3 August, when I had in fact not been in the country since June. I documented my card payments in May/April as well as my not being in Denmark on said date. It turns out it is a rental car that I had previously registered on the app that was driven by someone else on 3 August. I have been told that this is my liability because I have accepted the terms of trade, and that I should delete the vehicle on the app. But I have NEVER given ParkPark permission to create an overdraft on my account, I have never accepted to start parking on 3 August and I have never asked for plate reading to automatically commence parking. No active parking showed up on my phone or app on 3 August, potentially because I still do not have access to the damn thing! The app does not generate passcode for a non-Danish phone number or to my email, so I, stille, have no way of accessing my account. Essentially you should stay as far away from this app and this company as possible, especially if you do not have a Danish phone number. The functionality for overseas users is an absolute joke, and even if you do not have any means of accessing your app, apparently you can be held liable for all future usage of any rental car you have ever registered. The answer from customer service - they need to pay the owners of the parking space. I agree, but why don't you do it out of your pocket?!
Edit: ParkPark - easy to say when you’re unable to provide access codes to the app to both phone and email. Within your terms of trade, it also says that no parking can be considered started until a message has been pushed through the app. That never happened. Terms of trade should be considered a contract with two parties involved - you also have to deliver on yours!

Not user friendly and very slow app. Quite expensive for longer stays (1dkk/hour), only slightly cheaper than other apps that work very well. It's worth it for short time parking as then it is quite cheap comparing to competition (1 dkk instead of 4 for the first hour).

I have nothing but hatred and injustice for your company. You are liars and in many ways you are making us users give you money, you have integrated with cameras in the parking lots, and you are giving opinions to the users of the application, your application should make life easier for users and your application only complicates people's lives. In my opinion, you should be closed forever. Your business idea is doomed to fail. Dear users, do not download this application, you will be deceived, and you will not prove anything, this is a legal method of deceiving us users. I make you good luck. I hate this Parkpark campaign.

Automatically charges your account. Automatically "confirms" parking via the app without prior acceptance from the user.
Basically automatically a lot of things which will cost you and which you would never approve if asked for acceptance first.
I'm still baffled that this is legal.

How they found my Swedish bank account to pull 300 DKK is still unknown to me. There has to be serious issues with the user data policy. I have not registered any bank card at the website (or have removed it long ago, don't remember). I have neither received any SMS, e-mail about the changes nor approved it in any ways. Please send my money back and forget that I have ever been your customer.

They just charged 40E on my credit card after I once used the app in 2018. All emails I got were in Danish and I didn't understand any of it. Turns out they moved to a new "business model". To me, this is fraud. I think I can get it back if I login again, but I'm afraid that this might be a trap to commit more fraud with my personal data.

Very bad style by charging my credit card 300dk just because they change their model to prepaid. No message was ever sent out. I only saw it loking at my bank statement, i wasn't even logged in. Besides, the app has ton of bugs and texts are unreadable.
Seriously, that should have been communicated.
They withdrew 300 kr. from my account without my approval. They should be sued.
Parked with them one time a couple of years back. Don't have the app anymore, but still they charged my creditcard DKK 300 last night as they have changed their business model into advance payment. No acceptance from me in advance, so a highly unlegal action from their side.
