I remember the early 1990s when downtown Macon Ga parking meters hurt businesses. Years later, they were removed and we enjoyed eating at restaurants downtown. About 10 years ago, the Democrat mayor reinstalled the parking meters. If you go downtown now, there are many, many empty parking spots. And, we refuse to go to any restaurants there. Dumb.
