Only gave one star as unable to give…

Only gave one star as unable to give zero. Throughout our time owning a van for personal use only we have been treated shockingly. 2 years after siting still waiting for work to be completed. Used van cost us as much as a new one of same model being sold but didnt see this until after buying. Pay 5000 pa fees for a site with lots of amenities. Not been able to use site for 4 months due to covid 19 but no refunds given. Other companies ie haven have given refunds. Only interested in lining their own pockets. No loyalty to their owners

My Trustpilot review

This company are a disgrace the way they are treating owners with distain, offering no refund for pitch fees of over £500 a month during the lockdown. Even if it is lawful how can they justify it when we are not able to use our caravans or facilities. So much for us all being in this together, clearly not. Even more annoying some owners have been able to stay at the parks by the company & so it’s possible for a fellow owner to be onsite paying their pith fee while I was forced to leave the site & have to pay full pitch fees now does that sound fair. PLEASE DON’T EVER BUY A HOLIDAY HOME FROM THIS MORALY BANKRUPT COMPANY.

Was staying long term on one the sites…

Was staying long term on one of the sites and was asked to leave the site while the corona virus was at large , I had a massive ongoing argument with them stating that myself and my eleven year old son had no where else to go but they where adamant we had to leave ASAP , managed to persuade My elderly mother to allow myself and my son to stay there for a few weeks Parkdean said we We should be allowed Back by end of May , so end of May deadline has now been put back to well actually we’re not allowing you back on site at all and the owner of the van has been asked to remove the caravan from the site once all this over so I’m
Homeless now and to top it all off they are not allowing me on site to collect
MY possessions Or my sons so we have no clothes no homely goods etc !! Parkdeqn are a discrace and Simon the manager on the non disclosed site should be ashamed of the way he’s treated people

Shocking customer value shown by Parkdean

Shocked and stunned how Parkdean have treated us as holiday owners on one of their sites in Norfolk. We received a letter yesterday confirming in no uncertain terms that despite the fact that we cannot use the park due to Covid lockdown Parkdean are 'under no obligation' to refund us any monies from the expensive pitch fees we pay to them each year. They claim that they are still paying for maintenance and security of the park which is pretty laughable.

We had the very unfortunate experience last year of our caravan being reversed into just after midnight one Saturday by a drunk driver. We informed the police and spoke to the site who informed us that there was no security around that evening. We even wrote to head office to show our disappointment about the lack of security and we rebuffed and told to take up the issue with the local site office.

Parkdean are only in business to take money off owners and charge extortionate amounts for their caravans. Our roads on the park are in desperately poor condition and we've been lobbying the owners to get these done for at least the last 3 years but to no avail.

If you're considering park owners in Norfolk, based on our experience consider other parks!

Vying hard to be the worst rated…

Vying hard to be the worst rated company on Trust Pilot. Cannot understand their approach to this issue. Owners are merely seeking a fair contribution in terms of refund. By hard balling and coming up with the dreadfully worded messages they keep sending they have alienated owners and holiday trade. Killing your own business. Good to see action being taken by so many - hopefully CMA action and other initiatives will get them to see sense. Playing into Haven Holidays hands. Claims that money is needed to keep things maintained blown out of the water by drone footage at various sites. Grass long and unkempt litter overflowing out of bins. Avoid this company at all costs.

Parkdean = Sharkdean!

By the time Parkdean Resorts open back up, owners will have lost at least 6 months of using the site, however we are all still having to pay 100% of our fees. Sharkdean are refusing a partial refund for loss of use, even though Haven and many other caravan parks are refunding the annual fees.

Plus Parkdean have most of their staff furloughed, so the GVT is paying their costs. With no business rates to pay also, they are raking in huge profits.

If I was ready to buy a holiday home right now, I would NOT be buying at Parkdean. I certainly will never buy / upgrade with them again and have started looking at alternative companies to move off the site where I have been for 11 years! All they care about is our money and they forget our money pays their costs and wages!

Buyer beware!

The worse company I have ever dealt…

The worse company I have ever dealt with, I was an owner on one of their sites up until early 2019. Bought the first van just over a year before traded in for a younger one, so wished I hadn't but thought yes had problems but grandkids love going to van so will perservere. I was lied to on first purchasing and found them out on a lot of lies after and I mean really lie until they get your hard earned cash, Please Please Please never trust them and buy from these unless you want to lose thousands of pounds

very bad and unethical company to deal…

very bad and unethical company to deal with.
Forcing owners who form the majority of their income to pay site fees for pitches and facilities they cant use. Try to justify it by posting social media bad taste videos saying how they have ramped up security, doing more maintenance, looking after our vans, taking phone calls, answering emails.

No grass cut at any sites, no maintenance carried out, staff all on furlough so no one to take calls or answer emails and purely focused on trying to make out its legal and they are right. No customer empathy, no communication and already overpriced for very badly maintained sites at best of times.

Also very crassly still harassing people to buy new vans (that they cant use) and The sales team will do anything to get you to buy a caravan then after that your on your own because they don’t want to know and never carry out the works they promise when you sign up. Once thats done - its over for them.

DO NOT TOUCH THESE WITH A BARGE POLE THERE ARE MANY MANY LOVELY SITES OF THE SAME IF NOT BETTER STANDARD BEING MANAGED BY PROPER COMPANY HIERARCHY WITH A BETTER OBJECTIVE AND MORAL STANDING.

Worst company I have ever had to deal with

Worst company I have ever had to deal with.
Worst company I have ever had to deal with all that matters to them is to take your money then don’t want to know you after that. The refuse to take your calls or answer your e mails. It’s all about making money to them there is no customer care. You are much better going to a haven park where they respect there customers and owners. The sales team will do anything to get you to buy a caravan then after that your on your own because they don’t want to know. They have refused to refund people on there parks . IF YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH A GOOD COMPANY I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO USE HAVEN.
