Recently I couldn't help but give a negative review for papercavalier. I felt dejected because a book I had been searching for so many years was lost again. I also didn't get any response that mattered. I was sad but at the same time also very angry. Luckily I was contacted by AITOR afterwards and he gave me back my confidence in papercavalier. I also received my book and am happy with it. It's a shame that not everyone at papercavalier is so customer friendly.
Unfortunately I have experienced the situation as described in my previous message but in the meantime a correct solution has been provided. I am satisfied and would just like to thank AITOR for his help and kindness. I am now leaving this experience behind me and will soon send a search list to papercavalier. Once again, thank you AITOR. Excellent price and quality for two books not readily available. Contact with customer service - prompt replies.

Purchased a book which I’ve been looking for everywhere, was very excited for it. Cancelled my order, gave vague response insinuating it was out of stock, just for me to see it reposted at more than 3 times the price. Disappointing and hard to trust that you can order something and actually receive it, or that you’ll have the price you paid for it honoured. Poor.

I ordered a book, i received the wrong book because probably, the suppier (not papercavalier) changed the cover with an other book. I contacted papercavalier, i explained the situation, they let me keep the wrong book and then they sent me the right book very quick. My experience with papercavalier was excellent as they answered my messages, they solved the issue and in the end i got the right book that i wanted and in a very very good condition, even though i had chosen used book.

It was a great experience acquiring used children's books from Abebooks. All the books arrived in good condition. I really appreciate the support for ensuring a timely delivery.

I bought a fairly rare out-of-print book from Paper Cavalier UK, and I’m extremely pleased. The book arrived exactly as described (listed as “very good” but honestly closer to “like new”). Delivery was smooth and within the expected window. Overall, I’m extremely pleased and highly recommend them! They seem serious and trustworthy sellers.

Purchased book from these people to then be told it would take over 6 weeks to arrive from the US. A bit annoying but ok, I really wanted this book.
16 days later I get a message saying the order has been cancelled. 16 days later!
I receive the standard “deal with it” message, you know the “we are sorry but…” message. The message where you know they are not sorry, not one bit, they are merely going through the motions.
Awful company, steer clear unless you want your hopes dashed and time wasted.

Great service. Book arrived with stains and they immediately offered a 50 percent discount or a full refund on return.

I urge you to be VERY careful when ordering anything from them. I paid 60 USD for a book that was basically an old library book that cost NEW only 9 USD. The description and the photos on AMAZON were misleading.

Any company that undertakes such predatory pricing should be avoided as they are devoid of ethical business practice.

Rare out of print novel: Listed a Very Good condition.

Indeed the item arrived. I have picked it up and am happy to report that it is in very, very good condition.

As described, very (ever so) slight browning of the pages, but otherwise a very clean and crisp copy with a flawless cover. Definitely VG+

I was looking for a book that was hard to find. They found my book and send it fast to my home. Great!
