Wifi is always lagging and they are no help to fix it. wont sent out a tech because there computers say everything is fine.
I have had continuous outages
I have had continuous outages. Quite regularly, the service will just stop working on all of my devices. Tech support nowhere to be found. Super shitty. When I signed up at the end of February, the tech support was available until 10pm PT. Now it's suddenly only until 7pm PT. I think the company is cutting their costs by cutting back on support people. When I do get someone on chat, they tell me to do the same thing each time regardless of the issue. It's maddenly futile because I know within a week or less I'll be having the same outage. I quite Telus in disgust. And I think I might also do that with Oxio. Super shitty company
I connected Oxio and had internet 3…
I connected Oxio and had internet 3 hours, after this my internet stopped working, I lost 1 full day with their extremely slow customer service, all day they recommended that I do a bunch of unnecessary restarts of my internet and then concluded that they had sent me a broken equipment, I can't even find the words to describe my indignation. Just never use oxio it is scam
I love how low the price is each month
I love how low the price is each month. They are always helpful when I need it. The price always stays the same!!

The customer service is slow but I’ve never had a problem they always answered my messages and I’ve been with them for a month already and so far so good. Better than Rogers which I had previously.
Oxio – Where "Customer Service" Goes to Die
If Oxio’s customer service was a person, it would be that friend who ghosts you, then sends you a link to Google when you finally hear from them.
You want support? Cool. Grab your phone, open a text thread, and prepare to have a deeply personal relationship… with absolutely nobody. No voice, no chat, no soul — just cold, robotic texts that all boil down to the same energy: “Have you tried doing it yourself, champ?”
I’ve seen vending machines with more empathy.
Every single issue I’ve had (and there have been a few) gets met with the same lazy energy. Meanwhile, they’re out here advertising “great customer service” like it’s not the biggest lie since “this call is being recorded for quality assurance.”
And the absolute cherry on top? The second you push back and say their service is trash, their immediate response is:
“Here are your cancellation instructions 😊”
Bro, that’s not customer service — that’s emotional terrorism with extra steps.
For what you pay, this is straight-up not worth it. Any other provider will at least pretend to care. Oxio doesn’t even bother with the foreplay.
Save yourself the headache. Run.
Oxio isn’t “budget-friendly.” It’s “budget funeral for your patience.”
Absolutely brutal customer service
Absolutely brutal customer service. I can't even call it that. It's non-existent. They also sent me an email saying my payment was late when it wasn't. When I enquired, they wouldn't answer my questions, and acted unbelievably dumb. I would not use their service again.
I was advertized and promised a 35…
I was advertized and promised a 35 dollar a month internet plan. I agreed. Now i am getting 72 dollar bills. By the time i was trying to communicate with them and waiting for them to answer i got my service cut once. So i ended paying the money got reinstated service. Now again i got a 72 dollar bill with a notice of service cut again if i dont pay. I know now they will lower my price down to the promised price but they will take away my internet speed and amount as a trick. I am very disappointed and i will not recommend anyone.
The connection started off 100%
The connection started off 100%. The speed I ordered within a month the speed dropped to less than half and they claim it's something at my end they're asking for pictures of my room and all kinds of weird things instead of just being honest and saying they're robbing me! I highly recommend you do not order from this company!
Worst provider ever
Worst provider ever.
Constant service failures with slow incompetent support that can take LITERAL days to get a useless response from; a walk through of rebooting your modem.and router.
It's probably worth giving Bell the 130 a month plus constant random rate holes instead, if you need a reliable ISP.
it took 2 weeks for the installer to…
it took 2 weeks for the installer to come because it's a rogers affiliate and rogers only gives them 1 day a week for installs. Then the modem came and it won't connect. Company has no call center and it takes days to get support to tell me there is an outage. There was no outage the installer did it wrong. Wasted 3 weeks at my business before I realized this was a waste of time.
I signed up and used this internet…
I signed up and used this internet service for about half a year. Was fine for first few months then for about 3 months it continuously cut out sporadically and I had to reset the modem and connection all the time to get it working. My gf tried them for a month or two and was not ever able to get the connection working. Was a huge time waster!!!
First ISP Delivering Speeds in High Park
This is the first ISP since I moved to my new place in High Park Toronto that has PROVIDED THE SPEED (I00Mbps) as promised.
Great support installing and initializing.
Product is fantastic.
Very happy.
Absolutely ridiculous got a free month…
Absolutely ridiculous got a free month when the equipment was shipped to me I didn’t install it right away once I did install it. They said that I was being charged from the shipment date, even though I wasn’t even using their product. Complete waste of time back-and-forth with AI takes forever to actually get someone not what they advertise. Don’t choose them.
Ok into terrible
Worked fine for about 1.5 years. Two small outages, once seems to have been the Roger lines in Calgary.
The internet just went down 4 days ago and the support immediately blamed the lines again without any troubleshooting and scheduled a technician to come and fix them. When the Rogers tech came, I described what happened and they instantly knew that the modem had died. Checked the lines anyways, confirmed, said I had to reach back out to Oxio.
On the chat, they took zero responsibility for absolutely anything saying "this was the likely cause" and "support worked as intended". When they asked about how long for the new modem they were dodgy, eventually revealing that it was going to take multiple business days, and that I would likely continue to be without internet for a minimum of 9 days, possibly up to 12.
They have gotten worse and worse, are difficult to connect with, provide no solutions when problems arise, and do not care for customer service or offering anything except to "not charge you for the days without service".
Do not use, and if you are with them hope your service / equipment stays working
"Jay" The technician that helped me
The technician that helped me, named "Jay" was very thorough and efficient. I love that you can sort out tech problems via text and pause and pick up whenever the timing is right for you. Its very helpful in todays task switching, whirlwind paced world!
Worst customer service
The router sent to me was defective. Their customer service is painfully slow, with no phone contact available.
When I returned their faulty equipment for the 60 day money back guarantee, I am now being told their warehouse team hasn't scanned it yet after 21 days from UPS delivery confirmation, and the company policy is to charge for unreturned items.
Every time I reach out for an update, they keep saying they haven't heard back from the team.
100 % a terrible company.
60 day guarantee not honoured
Offers 60 day satisfaction guarantee but doesn’t honour it. I couldn’t get a refund cause they told me I didn’t call tech support. I cancelled well within my 60 day startup term.
Oxio's (my) Wifi internet speed is 3 - 4 times faster
Oxio's (my) Wifi internet speed is 3 - 4 times faster than Bell's using the exact same computer. Perhaps more significantly, the interent speed is quite consistent as it ranges from a low of 425 to a high of 525 ( a variance not noticed).
