I enrolled onto 3 A levels in January this year in preparation to take examinations next year. The materials are straight forward to work with and the support from my tutors has been top class

I noticed there was a review in 2020 about the content of courses provided, but still no changes now in 2025. Doesn’t matter if Oxford is on the name, the PDF files to simply read and write an assignment is not engaging and adequate for learning. Also there’s no grace period, ONCE YOU PAY you will not receive your full refund. They will never point that out and not on the website. There’s always someone which the schools account telling people they never attended instead of resolving issues.

I would not recommend- I have spoken 5 times over a week to different people on the phone and been promised that someone who could help me with my sons enrolment would call me back - I also emailed and again no response. I have now changed to another provider whose enrolment process is very straight forward and they have very good reviews -a lucky escape I think
Edit -I was trying to enrol my son -I did speak to five different people as they clearly had different voices -I left my details each time and they read them back to me -I have had no reply when I left my email address with the First Gentleman I spoke to over a week ago -I suggest instead of blaming an alternative company for your bad reviews (which in my case is absolutely not -I am just someone who was hoping to use your services)that you listen to the reviews and address the issues that need attention

I urge anybody looking to study to do it yourself via free online resources - what Oxford Learning College offers is not worth it, to say the least. The costs are very expensive despite what you are given, which is a single PDF that is seemingly out of date for each course. If you want predicted grades or papers marking, it is a hefty fee to do so. Somewhat understandable if you weren’t already paying so much for the course. The prices for this I ultimately understood and even accepted - in self learning, such things don’t come cheap.
If you want to cancel your course, you have to do so in the first fourteen days, which is often not enough time to make an opinion. If you decide in those two weeks you’d like to cancel, there is a £50 cancellation fee. If you’d like to cancel after those two weeks, you’re in no such luck as they demand that you pay the full course price.
There are access to tutors via an old messaging system, and it’s up to the tutors when they want to respond. I haven’t had much experience contacting said tutors, so I can’t leave a positive or negative review in that regard.
The website itself is old - the news section on the online campus itself hasn’t been updated since 2024, and it is extremely difficult to navigate.
In all, I highly recommend not signing up with this college. If you do decide to sign up with them, I can only hope that you have thought it through thoroughly and that you don’t have as negative an experience as I have.
Edit: I am not sure why they have said I am not a student at the college, when I officially am. I confirmed several times on TrustPilot that this was indeed the correct place I was reviewing.

£400 for a PDF. If you miss a payment they chase you for the course fee in full and then threaten you with a debt collector if you can't pay it. The course "material" you are given is the entirety of a year at college compressed into an ill-written and poorly structured PDF file. Save yourself the hassle AND money, and buy a textbook from amazon instead.

Do not sign up for this college they have no interest in helping you complete your studies once they have your money you are on your own. I contacted my tutor and I was ridiculed for asking what I thought was a simple query after ten message exchanges I was told she did not want me as a student and she was going to have me reassigned to another tutor as she did not feel I had the level of education she was used to dealing with. They had a very different attitude before I paid them the £1295 fee.

Oxford Learning offers a solid educational experience with supportive tutors like Ben Williams, who provide valuable feedback, especially during stressful times. Many students find the tutors exceptional, always ready to help with challenging topics. Their guidance and dedication are highly appreciated, as seen in the positive support for both students and their families. However, some concerns have been raised about the enrollment process and customer service, highlighting the need for more understanding in special circumstances. Overall, Oxford Learning is a reputable choice for A-Level studies, deserving of four stars.
I took A Level History through Oxford Learning and my Tutor, Ben Williams was great! He was supportive and provided really useful comments on my essays which I then used in my exams. He was great when I was stressing about the Dissertation as well.
I have done 3 a levels with Oxford College and the experience was great. The tutors were exceptional and are there to help for the parts you don’t understand. I can’t recommend enough, and thank you Oxford College.
Studying at Oxford Learning College has been an incredible experience, particularly because of the flexibility it offers. The "study at your own pace" model was exactly what I needed to balance my education with my busy schedule. I enjoyed studying the material and the tutor was alaways available whenever I had questions or needed clarification on complex topics. Recommended!
I enjoy researching myself for the assignments and could work in my time as I also have a full time job
Would do it all again really worth it. Could get help when I needed it and never felt that I could not understand the work. Great to do.
This is a complete scam DO NOT SUBSCRIBE TO THIS. I got the fast track chemistry AQA course. Notes were not consistent with AQA book, end of unit assessments were ridiculously marked and out of scope of the course (for predicted grade). Once the 14 days pass you are STUCK and have to carry on paying for this scam. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.

I have done their diploma in delivering distance learning and the diploma in teaching business English. These have helped me get employment.
I enroled on a Level 4+5 with incredible support from my tutor, all from the comfort of my home 16 Assignments in two years (well I completed it in 16 months :) ) and now I have applied to a University to top up to a Bachelors Degree i am over the moon.
Cheapest A level Bundles I have seen, enroled last year on the Fast Track bundle (which is 3 A level subjects) did my exams this year waiting for results but incredible help from the tutors and for me past papers really helped me before the actual exam.
I have been trying to find a course for my young grand-daughter who is unable to continue her school attendance but who is desperate to study further. I have been helped in this over the past few weeks by Kayleigh who, if I could give her 50 stars, I would!!! She is obviously a lovely caring person who is also very knowledgeable and efficient in her job. She has gone above and beyond to help me sort out a solution and my lovely grand-daughter now has a chance of a future.
I needed some information about enrolling in an economics diploma so I chatted with Kayleigh. She was extraordinarily polite during the conversation and provided me with all the information I was looking for and then some. I couldn’t be happier with my experience thanks to her.
My experience was amazing with the agent-Kayleigh, she was extremely understanding and helpful with my situation of health problems especially mental health so for the most amazing support and such empathy I’m giving a five star rating ⭐️
Course material and online resources are out of date and irrelevant to the course studied. The web site and student area is very basic, old fashioned and difficult to navigate. The ‘tutor support’ is laughable. I know this ‘college’ courses are cheaper than many others but honestly pay a little more, shop around and go with a proper organisation.
I already have 3 recent ALevels at grade A, but wanted to add to my collection and didn’t really mind what resources were offered being quite an independent learner, but what you pay is outrageous for what you receive here. You may as well by a 20 year old second hand text book from Amazon which would be more use than this ‘course’.

I am a student at Cherwell College Oxford. When choosing a college, the first thing I was looking for was online learning. I was looking for a programme to start in January, without waiting for the next academic year. What attracted me to Cherwell College Oxford was the structure of the programme. Reviews with student forums helped me to find the right place. I really like the fact that the lectures are in real-time format with the physical presence of students in a virtual classroom. This type of online study is not a waste of time!
