I paid $1 for information about a…

I paid $1 for information about a property and a few days later ownerly kept trying to charge my cash app account $37.99! They have tried to charge it 8 times and 2 more times since I had them blocked! Why do they still keep trying to do this! I did not subscribe to anything!

Ownerly scam

I have no recollection of signing up but I’ve been charged monthly for 5 months. I’ve tried repeatedly to cancel and get a refund. They are quick to email back until I give them all the billing details they ask for. Then, they go silent.

Trying useless websites

Today I paid ownerly 1.00 on the promise to deliver information on my property.
Not only could they not tell me what year it was built (1919) nor could they tell me who lived in these rooms, but they couldn't tell me ANYTHING! NOTHING! I hereby cancel any membership, subscriptions or any affiliation with the services or rather non services associated with this company. Furthermore if you even consider taking any more currency from my account, because you obviously just wanted my credit card info.,I will sue your butt off! I can find more information in the comic books than your techs can searching the web.

I’ve been trying to cancel since August 2024

I have tried to cancel multiple times since August 2024. I was notified that I must pay to cancel! When I tried to back out of the site; it sent me a message that I could save 15% off the cancelation fee. To make things worse; I was never able to obtain reliable information on any properties.

I paid $1.00 to find out something and was not told that they would charge me $40.36 later for a month. I didn't find out what I hoped to learn and they fraudulently charged me a monthly fee.

They have absolutely nothing, granted its only % dollars, but i searched 8 different properties in Newport Beach and Irvine CA, and they had nothing. they just took my money, and wasted my time.

I too was billed a week later after…

I too was billed a week later after requesting the same day that I signed up and canceled. I called the company and also emailed them but was still billed. They never even acknowledged my email with a response. So, how do I proceed if they don't answer their phones or
emails? BBB? I would give them no stars but that is not an option.

NO INFORMATION ON THE SEARCHED ADDRESS!

After typing a complete address, the site went running, simulating is was retrieving informations for the property.
Then started collecting my personal information, and after that showed me trial payment options of $1.00 and $5.00 (just trial options) to download their complete report. I opted for the $5.00 one, and payed with Apple pay. Only then I was able to hit the download button, to get that one report. The answer was NO INFORMATION ON THE SEARCHED ADDRESS! Lost $5.00, and confidence on ownerly.com !!!

Did not cancel my subscription the first time I asked it to be. Charged me for a full year before actually getting through to someone to finally cancel it. And only refunded me 2 months.
