Avoid this shop!
I returned my order (171,90€) in November 2025, and despite DHL tracking confirming they received the goods on Nov 21, I still have not been refunded.

While the company has responded to a few of my emails, their replies have been unhelpful and have lead to no actual action. It has now been 4 months since the item was returned and they kept my money.

I am now forced to initiate a bank chargeback and report this case to the Verbraucherzentrale (Consumer Advice Center). Save yourself the stress and shop elsewhere.

In my case, the seller sent different items (different color, different model) for each of my two orders to trigger payment through PayPal. In the respective disputes with PayPal, the seller provided tracking numbers, including for the returned items, which PayPal then used as grounds to deny buyer protection. The seller is not responding to messages and is not issuing a refund. This pattern has been reported in previous reviews. I will be filing a criminal complaint and urge anyone affected to do the same.

I had to wait 1.5 months for my bouldering shoes and when they arrived they were completely different to the ones I ordered.

How I got cheated by Sport Stephan:
Sport Stephan delivered shoes in the wrong size. After a lot of mail correspondence they send me a prepaid returnslip and promised to exchange the shoes a.s.a.p. I returned the shoes - and then radio silence! No shoes, no money back. Even the payment through PayPal was a scam.
The only thing this company seems to be good at is to make homepages and emails that look real but are false.

Avoid this shop. Gloves that were listed on stock weren't shipped 7 days later. Ater cancelling the order I get a refund confirmation, but 3 weeks later this has not been paid. I had to contact PayPal customer service to get the money back.

I bought a Salewa Jacket and afterward no confirmation email or no delivery information were received. When I received the item by accidentally, It was too big in terms of size. I would like return it and it takes several days of emailing to convince that. Somehow I returned the product with the given delivery label. But unfortunately I haven't received any refund or any confirmation, eventhough 10 days have already passed.

Made an order on 4 January, they sent a wrong item. Returned it in time, they received it, but no refund. Wrote to them many tomes, mostly without response. Today is 16 June already. Just unacceptable, avoid them.
Finally, they made refund after I contacted European Consumer Centre.

This webshop is not the place to buy without worries. Their are nice items on the website at fair prices. Sadly it seems that they ship whatever they have lying around. I received the wrong color item and just one, not the two I ordered. I tried to contact the websites helpdesk but they never answer the phone. Via mail the replies are better, although sometimes I had to resend a message to get a respons. Sadly Stephan does not seem to read mails very well. I told him I received the item in the wrong color and just 1 instead of 2, he replied he would sent me another one. Missing the point the one I did receive was the wrong color. Returning the item was a hassle as well with faulty return labels.

After 13 days i have received my delivery. All as described boots in good shape. Price was best i found that is big plus of this shop. Why just 3 star rating? Lack of communication. After i saw all negative feedbacks i thought I made mistake buying from this seller therefore i sent an email when I didn't see any progress with delivery. No response at all .. after a week or something i saw GLS status changed and few days after I have received a package. I cannot say anything against this shop only i wish they will communicate more for their own good, so people doesn't feel scammed...

Scam! Product has not been sent out within 3 werks. Took multiple approaches to get my money back.

I wish I had searched for reviews of this store prior to my order and seen all the previous reviews because my experience was exactly the same as outlined by many others.

Ordered a camping burner in the online shop on March 8th. Was informed that it would take 3-5 days before it can be shipped. Checked in on March 14th and was told that now the burner is not available until April 1st. Followed up on April 2nd and was told it will be shipped as of April 8th. Followed up on April 10th and did not receive a response. Followed up again on April 25th and guess what? Now the burner suddenly can't be delivered until May 8th.

I ended up requesting refund via PayPal

They do not have the goods available, they are delaying. Every time I wrote to them they said tomorrow we send them, then in 3 days, then again tomorrow. They are lying.

Send wrong item (wrong size and color) but full refun dincluding the return shipping costs.
However you have to be patient with their cleint service.

The seller Sport Stephan aka outdoorworlds.de is a fradulent seller who seems to never send the correct goods. I have the exact same experience as the other buyers in these reviews. On my fisrt order I have recieved incorrect coulour of the pants I have ordered. I have dealt with this and made a new order, since the seller wrote me the correct color is in stock. However, a week has passed since my order, the tracking number was issued and the goods never left the warehouse. Sunds familiar? If not, read the other reviews.. I got my money back with the help of PayPal. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE? YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET WHAT YOU PAID FOR!!!

They did not have the equipment in stock (which of course was not indicated on the site). Then they promised me that, the item will arrive to them in 1 and a half week after the order time and they will ship it immediately afterwards. I accepted that. Then I wrote them after the supposed stock refill and never got a message back. Couldn't reach them on the telephone either.
So I wrote a request for a refund, which at least was dealt quickly.
I was led on for 3 weeks for by the customer service which is just ridiculous and crappy service.
Avoid if possible
