Far more than just jumpers
I currently have three jumpers from Outdoor Knitwear, two Welbeck wooly-pullys and a submariner sweater, and they are without doubt in a completely different class to anything else I have ever owned.
The fit is great, they blend themselves to the body; no flappy nonsense around the hem at the bottom. They are very warm like only wool can be. They seem to have a natural quality to stay clean and always fresh; maybe again something to do with them being natural wool. They are extremely durable and I have had them a few years, and when I finally did need a small repair due to wear and tear, it was done and posted back for free.
These jumpers are more than clothing, they are like old friends. Maybe one day they will even become heirlooms!

Very happy - British made at its best
Very happy. The design and fit is great and takes me back to the quality of UK wool jumpers I remember from my childhood. British made at its best. Customer service experience very positive. Latest purchase is the zip shetlander in navy. I also have the Bond jumper and heavyweight welsh wool jumpers. Great for walking. I am fan!
Very warm and robust jumpers. I would recommend without hesitation. Thank you!

I ordered a Forrester - Crew Neck Woolly Pully Sweater on 22/08/2025 but received the wrong item instead. At first, I struggled to get through to anyone, which left me frustrated.
Looking back, I think this may have been a technical error on the website rather than bad intention. As soon as I left my review, the company reached out straight away, apologized sincerely, and offered to send the correct item free of charge. Today (10/09/2025) I received confirmation that it’s on its way.
Mistakes happen, and what matters is how a company responds. I appreciate that they took responsibility and quickly put things right.

Outdoor Knitwear is a great company to deal with.
I have a couple of the polo neck sweaters.
After washing them as directed to soften them, I have lived in them all winter, so comfortable and extremely warm/durable.
At home, shopping or in the woods cutting wood, I wouldn't be without them now!
Thank you everyone.

I own four sweaters
from Outdoor Knitwear in four different styles and they're all great - all very well made and finished. I'm a fan of woollen clothing so it's gratifying to find a company who still manufactures in Britain and sells items made from indigenous yarn. Excellent value for money too. Recommended!

Great woolly pullies !!
A long established, great British company which supports our farmers and wool industry. Their knitwear is hardwearing, well made and stylish. I now have five of their jumpers of different styles. I wouldn't look anywhere else if I needed another !

Mixed feelings
Happy with the two woolly pullies which you sent to me in Australia. I bought them in your sale so the price was good too.
But unhappy with paying £50 for you sending them. That was excessive, in effect, a hidden profit which offset the benefit of the sale price. Not good practice.
Excellent products
Excellent products, prices and service. All the models (notably the submariner) are classics. Outdoor Knitwear is still the best in its field.
I've been buying for many years and my main problem is justifying new items because the woolly pullys and socks simply don't wear out.
