I bought an ottocast minicube 3 for a RAV4 2019 with carplay. My goal was to connect it wirelessly with an android phone, something I could achieve with other ottocast product (wired carplay to wireless android auto). The website says it is compatible with my car and only lists the carplay as a requirement, but it turns out to have wireless android auto you also need wired android auto, so it did not work with my setup. I tried to start a return and the agent said not only I would need to pay to ship it, but also they would charge an extra $15 fee as the return would be caused by me. I don't agree, as the website is not very clear about the requirements and they do not have any disclaimer stating wireless android auto would only work for cars with wired android auto. I also added a review to warn similar customers and it was not published in their website

Great device and phenomenal customer service. After a couple of years of using the ottocast in my car i broke the usbC to usbC cable. So i emailed and asked them which one to buy. Well, guess what? They shipped one for free! Came 4 days later, my ottocast back to working great. Thank you, thank you ! 5 stars ⭐️

2018 Chevy Volt. Worked partially once it finally seemed installed. Now the car refuses to recognize it. Wasted hours on it.

I have been using wired CarPlay on my 2018 Volvo XC90 and sometimes I don't need to charge my iPhone all the time. I saw Ottocast on a Facebook ad and checked it out. I ordered two of the new cube units and have been using one. I had some issues the first few days with streaming music till I found out you could change the bluetooth setting. You have to connect to the Ottocast to change this. The setting is not explained in the small manual so I had to figure it out on my own. Once it changed, my music streaming audio worked. There were not much FAQs on that, so thats why it's only 4 stars.

Great Product! Having used this product currently for about a week now, operation has been flawless. Using it on my 2021 Toyota Highlander which required a wired input for CarPlay, now with the Ottocast cube installed, automatically and easily brings up the CarPlay interface. No wires needed! Just what I was looking for.
Plan on about 10-15 days from order to delivery since it shipped from China,

I've only had the unit for a few days, but it was really easy to set up, and seems to connect very quickly when I start my vehicle. I addition, it has not lost connection while I've been using it.

Ottocast Mini 3.0 works like they say it does! fast start up, flawless connection, and stays connected. works well for both apple carplay and android auto. now the only reason to have a cord in the car is to charge the phone, this is awesome, small enough that you can use the other USB next to it to charge your phone or other accessories (doesn't block it)

Isn’t compatible despite their website stating it would be.
When I emailed to start a refund process they went back forth stating I needed to send videos to show it wasn’t working. Even after sending they just offered a £5 refund despite the product costing £35. They told me this is because the product isn’t actually faulty. Stay away!

Previously had the U2Air product which was ok but size and mounting in vehicle was difficult. Upgrade to the Otto Cube for its small foot print, easy setup and much faster connection to Android, with OTA this tiny device will always be up to date on software.

Ordered it weeks ago, still stuck in crappy shipping from China using some weird dodgy carrier nobody's ever heard of. Don't buy this product from this company.

I bought the Ottocast Mini Cube 3.0 for our Kia EV6 to save having to plug my phone in. It could not have been easier to set up and is excellent. It's quick to load (takes around 20 seconds from starting the car) and the link is stable. I'm really pleased with it and will be getting my son one too!

Bought this the other day for my ford puma, it’s small design means it’s tucked up out of the way, unit synced up straight away to the phone and the car seamlessly. Great little product for the price, no more plugging it in. 😁

I saw an advert for their new Mini Cube 3.0 and had a couple of questions so sent them an email. Got a detailed reply back within minutes so I took a punt on the product.

It arrived quickly, with accurate tracking information and included a USB A/C adapter which I wasn't expecting. The device works perfectly and boots into Android Auto before my car has fully turned on.

All told, I couldn't really ask for anything more!

This Ottocast Play2 video ultra wireless adapter just will not stay connected for nothing. The worst $109 I have spent!
