Good experience

I ordered 2 pairs of sunglasses a week apart. The first pair arrived faster because they received them in stock faster, while I waited for the second one for almost a month, but in both cases everything was communicated. From the moment the package was handed over to the courier, the glasses were delivered to Croatia within 72 hours. I must admit that I was a little skeptical because of the bad reviews I saw, but my experience has been very positive. The only downside to everything is that they don't actually have too many models of glasses in stock, so you only get that information after ordering. If you're in a hurry, I advise you to contact them first and then order. I think the good price is worth the slightly longer wait.

Defective glasses and no resolution provided

I purchased glasses from OTTICASM.COM.
Shortly after receiving the item, it became clear that the product is defective: one side of the frame keeps loosening, making the glasses unusable for normal wear.
I contacted the seller promptly and provided details of the issue. The problem was acknowledged, and I was informed that they were waiting for feedback from the manufacturer. However, despite multiple follow-ups, no repair, replacement, or refund was provided within a reasonable time.
Unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved, and the product I paid for is still unusable.

No return label after wrong order

Don't risk it.

The sunglasses I ordered did not look like the picture at all, but looked exactly like another model.

They were labeled correctly so took some photos and contacted OtticaSm to confirm I knew this was not their fault but I still wanted them exchanged.

We went back and forth and back and forth over this but I received zero response to the actual problem, they just kept repeating it was the model I ordered.

In any case I'm not risking another wrong order if there is no recourse so I'm just sending them back and be done with it.

In the end instead of saving some money I am paying for return shipping and am still without glasses.

Slowest customer service ever…

Slowest customer service ever experienced.

They'll deliver what you buy, sure. But only after you email them for a month and only partially - then they'll spend weeks promising a refund for the unshipped items.

I'm filing a dispute with my credit card, but I know not everyone can do this so please beware!

Avoid!

I absolutely do not recommend shopping at this store. I was tempted by the low price, and that was my mistake.

If all the products in the store are discounted by up to 50% off the manufacturer's price (always), then you know something is wrong.

I bought just the frames, and everything was perfect until I returned them because they were too small.
The store is located outside the European Union, so shipping costs are incredibly high. It's possible to ship to an Italian address, but it's not officially listed on the website. However, the seller does not offer free returns under any circumstances.

The return parcel was delivered on December 17th and I still haven't received my refund and they just stopped responding to my emails
I do not recommend this store.

I ordered a pair of glasses on December…

I ordered a pair of glasses on December 30th & received an email that my order should be shipped within 4-6 business days. After many follow ups, I received an email on January 22nd (almost a month later) from Ottica saying that my order has shipped & that I should receive an email from the courier within 48 hours confirming that they received it. Today is January 27th and I still have not received any communication from the courier. After a whole month, I’m still waiting for my order with no proper indication on when it will be delivered. I asked them for a refund & to cancel my order multiple times before it was shipped due to all the delays & they continued to tell me that my order will be shipped “within the next few days.”

Sent me wrong sunglasses, two months later no refund

I’ve ordered from this store many times before, but this last experience was really disappointing.

I ordered two pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses as Christmas gifts and instead received a completely different pair that I never ordered. They admitted it was a warehouse mistake, which is fine, errors happen, but the way it was handled afterward was not okay.

Even though it was their error, I was asked to pay and arrange international return shipping myself as they said they are unable to provide return labels outside Italy. They promised to later refund me the return shipping. I did exactly what they asked, sent the item back with tracking and insurance, and it was delivered back to them on January 9.

They’ve now had the returned sunglasses for over 18 days and I still haven’t received a refund for the original order or the return shipping cost they promised to reimburse. I haven’t even received a confirmation of receiving the return.

I was told to wait specific timeframes, which I did. After that, my follow up emails started getting ignored completely. I even let them know my bank advised a chargeback if I didn’t hear back, and still no response.

It’s now been almost two months since I placed the order and I have neither the correct items nor my money back.

Mistakes can happen, but customer service is about fixing them properly. Unfortunately this has been stressful, slow, and full of silence once they had my money and the returned item.

I’d be very careful ordering here, especially if you’re outside Italy and something goes wrong.
