fabulous way to learn about and respect money

My son loves the fact he had his own card, feels grown up paying for items he'd like to buy. This way of giving pocket money enables a child to have responsibility and has helped my son in making sensible choices on what to spend his money on rather than frittering it away on sweets!

Ideal for kids starting school

The card is an ideal way of teaching kids starting secondary or already in school financial education. My daughter loves it and makes her feel grown up. Also I can top up the card in seconds rather than handing over cash. Recommended.

Osper - a serendipidous discovery

We found the Osper team fast, reliable, flexible and helpful. Our grandchildren found operating the card simple, secure and dependable. We would recommend any parent/grandparent to make use of the service for any children or young adults.

Love this card.

Gives children independence and responsibility over they're own money.
Using the apps they can keep an eye on what comes in and out and get messages each time they use their cards.
I can also keep an eye on the accounts on my phone which is great.

Good idea!

My son who's 10 was very keen to have his own card. It is a good idea and the fact that you can check on their spends is even better. Would be nice to have a longer trial of all the benefits to see how helpful the app really is.

Simples

Easy to set up and simple to use. Kids love having the independence of paying for stuff themselves. They even bought the ice-creams yesterday. Definitely recommend

Amazing service - what a refreshing experience!

I signed up for both my teenage daughters (now 14 and 16) and just want to say what an incredible experience it has been. We've lost cards, had to urgently unlock Cards to use in USA, needed advice on things - the call centre experience is fab, the response quick (usually a call back in 30 mins), the detailed email communication always clear and helpful, I can always get in touch even at 10pm at night - just puts every other bank I've ever had - to SHAME! Thank you for changing things for the next generation. I truly love Osper!!!

Teach them about the value of money.

I got my 8yr old the Osper card to help teach him about using and spending his money. I am a single parent and we dont have much money to spare. So when my son started asking for pocket money I decided to get him the Osper card so I could put money on as and when he had earned it. He feels very grown up using it and I would highly recommend it.

Great card fantastic customer services

Love the card it gives us much more control over pocket money and our son's grandpa puts his pocketmoney on it monthly instead of saving it up for him when we visit every other month. its quick easy and most of all convenient. We love the savings tab it is teaching him to save for things he wants. Would recommend to everyone. customer services are great too they answer really quick when you call and very knowledgeable about the card and its features no press 1 for this and 2 for that straight through to an agent. Great card

Essential tool for children and young adults

Very well executed project allowing children and young adults to get a grip on personal finances. The ability to make choices on what to spend money on as well as allowing them to engage with digital "banking" is a vital part of future skills, well done! Highly recommended.

ruined holiday

I loaded nearly £100 spending money on my 8 year olds osper card for him going on holiday to Haggerston Castle. Every cashpoint he's tried to used has told him he has zero balance. I'm told by osper this isn't uncommon but the card works in major banks and supermarkets. That's no use to him now! Totally embarrassing and upsetting for my son. I can ask for the money to be put back onto my debit card but that will take 5 working days. Not good enough. I do not recommend this card. My son is devastated

Excellent Card

The Osper card lets your child have the independence of their own card but the adult still retains the ultimate purse strings ! The app is easy to use letting you add additional funds as well as a regular payment load. You can enable the card to allow online payments, handy for Xbox etc. You can also stop your regular payments and report the card missing . Excellent card , yearly fee applies although mine was waived for the first year .
