Having worked with Chris and numerous members of his team over the past 3 years, my overall experience has been very positive and I would strongly recommend Original Element to anyone seeking an organisation that will truly listen to your individual needs and requirements.

Creating 2 complex apps and integrating them together to bring a highly specific user experience, the team not only spent time understanding my vision but they have also clearly paid attention to me as an individual, as they continue to offer support in areas where I need it, communicate with me in a way that suits my workflow and provide updates for me to project manage/budget accordingly.

Once again, I strongly recommend and look forward to continuing our professional relationship!

Chris Langton and his team at Original Element designed my website and have looked after my company’s online profile since 2015.

I have worked with Original Element for about over a year and I have found that they have been very easy to talk to as well as being hard workers and cooperate amazingly, always improving and making sure the best thing for their clients. Worked with Chris and Original Element since 2009, when we were both first starting out. It was a pleasure to see the company grow from strength to strength. He helped us with our website, SEO, and blogging and now in the process of re-designing some of the pages in line with new software integration.

Original Element has done an exceptional job supporting our trust's online requirements. They are quick to respond to any problems we may encounter, helpful with any new requests and very informative.

My company has worked with Chris and his team for 6-7 Years. Originally Element has developed 2 complex websites that have required a lot of complex bespoke code. Prior to Using OE we found it difficult to find developers that understood or that skills in not just web coding but Design and SEO. That's where OE excel ( you need to understand all aspects to get a perfect website ). OE also handle our PPC marketing and in the last year have built a custom e-sign module that integrates with our site check out. They are reasonably priced and met all deadlines.

Brilliant work and at a Brilliant cost. I have had no hesitation in recommending them several times and they are always helpful, approachable and innovative

Unfortunately this company was a big waste of time.

I listed a project I had on the forum which allows professional app developers to bid for the work. This was one of a number of companies that contacted me and although they were the most expensive their sales guy said all the right things.

When they were taking the information to be able to quote the project there was literally no structure to this they said send us some information, and I never got a single question back, that is when doubt started to set in, It’s quite a deep project why would they not want sufficient information to quote it properly? And why would they not have some kind of structure to get the information they need?

Anyway sure enough I got quite a high five figure quote from them asking for 50% payment pretty much, at which point I said I would like to speak to one of the development team as I really need to reassure myself that you actually understand what I want. Eventually we got a pretty poor connection zoom call with their Managing Director and the sales guy.

I thought this was the perfect opportunity to really get reassured that they Understood the project and our specific company requirements. Anyway after spending another hour the MD just seemed pretty frustrated and not really that bothered about listening, rather than telling me how things work.

So after several wasted weeks and then a couple of rather unprofessional interactions I now get to a stage today where the MD sends me an email telling me they will no longer be going ahead with my project.

Unfortunately they were very keen to put together a highly loaded quote and not so keen to really understand the customer requirements and deliverables, and really didn’t seem too concerned just how much they had wasted their clients time either.

We had an international software house he was providing an API to the project they did not even bother contacting.

I can only give one star because this interaction was nothing but a total waste of time for our company and really not professional.

I can say this with a degree of confidence having been involved in the launch of upwards of 40 apps. All I was looking for was communication and straight talking not blagging.

And just by way of a follow up.
Far from our venture failing any on boarding process, they were incredibly happy to request immediate payment it was our concerns which requested clarification and follow-up meeting which were left less than convinced - Unfortunately they could not provide us with the reassurance that they fully understood how to deliver the scope of this project and when called out on this have withdrawn, This is more a cursory note to anybody that may get involved with them, you may well get the runaround as we did, and there was little to know direction concerning information gathering to ensure they understood client requirements.

I was told once I had paid that the delivery and understanding of my work would be verified. For me that is too much risk in terms of finance, and time and taking a blind punt can easily lead to failed projects.

As a strategist I have and will always derisk projects. Thankfully it stopped a larger negative outcome.

I wish these guys well, I appreciate the eloquence of the reply although not entirely factual.

This is not threats of one star reviews to work with us, this is genuine feedback from a technology buyer who has been left disappointed by a company overpromising and under delivering and ready to take my money.

Buyer beware.
