Orcutt Financial -- avoid!!!
The perception can be that they mishandle the funds of the elderly in a way that fosters dependence on their services. Through what appears to be complicating, overly diversifying, and creating overlapping maturity dates for investments, the company seems to make it difficult for clients—particularly elderly clients—to clearly understand and independently manage their finances. Moreover, the staff often appear incompetent, unhelpful, and at times seemingly unaware of where vital client funds are being held. In my experience, phone calls frequently go unanswered, and client needs are not addressed in a timely or satisfactory manner.
