Court Ruled in My Favour – Misrepresentation Confirmed
After a frustrating experience with Optima Clinics, I pursued a small claims case — and on 14 July 2025, the court ruled in my favour, awarding a full refund and legal costs on the basis of misrepresentation.
We were misled about the nature and scope of an appointment, which caused significant emotional distress and disruption for our family. Despite several opportunities to resolve things amicably, the clinic failed to take accountability until forced to do so through the court.
This judgment confirmed that what we paid for was not what was delivered — a decision that speaks volumes about the clinic’s communication and governance.
I have updated the Care Quality Commission accordingly.
