My account is not showing any of my upcoming bookings and is not showing my previous history either. As many restaurants charge for no shows, I am concerned that this will happen as I can’t see... See more

Never seem to be eligible for points
I have used this for seven reservations in the last two years and not one was eligible for OpenTable points. That’s just BS.
Avoid if you can
Booked a restaurant in San Francisco, travelled from London, ate at restaurant, now Open Table asking why I was a 'no show', despite me having a receipt & bank payment record. Avoid if you can.
Totally useless. Booked though restaurant was closed.
They took a booking although the restaurant was shut. We didn't realise it was Christmas hours. We were travelling an hour to meet friends who were also coming a long distance. We'd had the automated confirmation too. Luckily my daughter realized on searching for the destination, we rerouted but very shoddy service. I shall also contact the restaurant to complain. I shall never use this site again.
Opentable is making me authorize
Opentable is making me authorize, $50 per person in case of a cancelation less than 3 days before reservation. Makes me not want to use the service by default. Especially, if I make a booking a few hours before. What is worse is if the restraunt can fill my spot. No service = no charge. Give customers a finite number of cancelations. For the few that abuse cancelations remove them.
Terrible service
I need to change my email. It should be simple, but I made one typo now I cannot get it fixed. Their customer service is nonexistent. Use a different service or just pick up phone & call restaurant for reservations. The whole “points thing” from OT is a scam anyway.
Zero customer service, on purpose!
It is impossible to contact a human. Been a member since 2006 and have never been able to use the points system. Tried to day, and was issued a "credit" that was 0 dollars (supposed to be $10)...after 18 years...
Terrible app and experience!

No wonder people give bad reviews.... They are slow, have slow updates, and their tolerance to criticism is low. Very low.

So tired of them stealing my points I earn. Why offer points if they expire? Its just for Amazon gift cards anyway and it takes 2000 points to get a $10 one. It takes 10 reservations to even get to the 2000 points and seeing how I am middle class and can't afford to eat out non-stop, it takes me a few years to get to the 2000. But nope, they expire after 3 years no matter what, so you get screwed before even reaching the 2000 points. Just so absurd to have a points program, if you take them away.
Impossible to contact this outfit
I was willing to write a thoroughly favourable review of the Little Wine Bar Taunton - but could not do so. Open Table's IT kept refusing to accept the verification codes they had sent me. The sole means of contact with Open Table (who do not accept replies) was then via a moronic Chat Box incapable of answering a question or of passing me on a real person. I enjoyed lunching at the restaurant. But a defective IT system prevents me from saying so.

Reading reviews (and rating the helpful ones). I can understand confirming real users via *ONE* method (i.e., send a text message), but then to have to enter an email address, log in to the site, and approve the ratings is 10000% *TOO MUCH EFFORT*. Opentable sucks and should not be trusted.

Its the biggest scam do not even think about signing for this company they are ripping my restaurant off
terrible company
I am a restaurateur and have been in contact for a year. Be careful, they take you down to the restaurant and they are not trustworthy. They make you a contract then you don't see anyone again. There is a person who is responsible in the UK who only makes fun of you. Be careful
No wonder there are so many 1-star reviews
There is no easy link on the website or on a confirmation email that allows the patron to cancel a reservation. There is a link on the reservationb confirmation to Manage reservation, but using it REQUIRES the user to open an account! This is like Target saying, we won't accept your return merchandise unless you get one of our credit cards.
Scammer company
Scammer company
To all restaurant owners AVOID.
You won't see any results, and they will drain your money by threatening legal action, even if you're extremely dissatisfied with their service.

Went to the Legh Arms yesterday and now they are sending me this app to review. You have to sign in and make an account, they want all your details. I don`t want to give them all of this information just to make a review. Sounds like a scam outfit to me.
They suspended my account for no-show
They suspended my account for no-show, because the restraint marked me as a no show!! I didn’t even know this had been happening because I don’t check my emails after I have a dinner! Open table has made going to dinner a homework assignment. And their customer service SUCKS. I deleted the app. Leaving a bad review everywhere I can. I’ve been a hostess before. They probably don’t know this is causing an issue and sometimes think someone has shown if they go through another hostess to get seated and mark them as a new table. It shouldn’t be a big deal. Not being able to get someone on the phone to right this wrong immediately is CRAP.
This Organisation is a total ripoff
This Organisation is a total ripoff. Managed to take £23 out of my bank account without my obvious knowledge. Can’t cancel my account though the app. Had to get my bank to cancel all recurrent payments on Apple Pay. Trying to get my money refunded but not holding my breath. No response to my email. I strongly advise not to use this Organisation and to raise your concerns with any restaurant using them.
The support for this app is awful
The support for this app is awful. And they try to monopolize reservations for restaurants.
Don't use them
Very very bad company
Very very bad company. They will ask you 170/month. But no customer send to you. And you will spend near £2000/year, but no service. No customer from opentable. I will never use them again, waste money and waste time
