Beware. They are a shady outfit.

Said they would ship my furniture in about a week then notified me that there would be a delay. I called them and they said it would be about 7 more weeks and if I didn't want to wait I could cancel the order. After I order from another company, they decide to ship the order anyway (suddenly it is in stock). I call and say do not do this. They say it's already at the shipping facility but don't worry they will not charge me. Then they email an offer of a discount of $200 if I let them ship it. I say no, I already have furniture coming. Then a week later they say they are keeping $600 of mine for shipping and restocking even though I cancelled before they shipped based on their advice that I could do so.

Couldn’t even place an order due to so many problems!

Attempted to place an order and found their website shows NO listing for contact for “One Way Furniture” other than by phone with VERY limited hours! Maybe that’s the underlying meaning to their company name—it is all one way—their way; or the highway. There is no address listed and when an online company does NOT even list an address that makes me VERY nervous. Even when attempting to check out, they had you agree to their terms and conditions but I do NOT see many consumer protections available as reaching this company is VERY restricted. Also when I attempted to check out using PayPal for payment, it stated there were too many “redirects” for PayPal to be used. I was NOT about to give this company my credit card information so they lost the sale when I discovered all of these issues. Also had taken the time to register and sign in, but when I went to checkout, instead of automatically filling out your information once you have taken the time to do all that, this company STILL expects you to fill everything out AGAIN. Very customer unfriendly.

I ordered bar stools less than a year.

I ordered bar stools less than a year ago. One already broke and they do not have the part available told to contact Powell, they just brushed you off.
This is my first experience at ordering over the internet and it will be my last. I should of done my homework and read the reviews I would have gotten my answer real quickly. I am totally discussed with both One furniture buying from such a poor manufacture and Powell for their cheap products.

Everyone please, do your homework before buying.

Damaged and still haven't heard if or when will be replaced

I ordered a table from One Way Furniture. The top of the table was delivered to someone else, over a week later they picked up the top but it was very damaged (apparently it was noted as damaged when received from the manufacturer. I have sent multiple emails and tried calling to get a response on when or how I can get another table top but I get no response at all. The phone number on the email does not work and if you call customer service on the main number no one ever answers. Update: I finally called the sales number and they transferred me to customer service and I was able to talk to someone (although from Cymax a sister company). I am supposed to get an update in 12-24 hours. Will let you know if I do.

Ridiculous Customer Service

Ordered a small cabinet over a week ago. My CC was promptly charged, and that's the end of it. Order simply shows "on hold". Called customer service 2x, each time the immature, illiterate reps had no idea why it was "on hold", or when it would ship. The worst online experience I have had with a retailer in more than 10 years. Run, don't walk away from this half-assed excuse of a company.

Non responsive Customer "Service"?!! Deceit.

I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to contact a "real" human being about my order placed on May 6, 2014. Three weeks later, I am still unable to make any contact with "One Way Furniture." Website and "My Account" links say to "request a tracking number." I did that twice--but never received a response nor tracking number. Their lengthy phone chain (reached by call 1-855-996-3929) is a joke! After selecting the appropriate #for my request, to no avail, I attempted to go down the line and try other #s identifying my concern--all to no avail. #5 cheerfully states that they have "Fast and Efficient Service." In my experience with One Way Furniture, I find that to be NOT true. And YES, they already charged my credit card for $794.15 and have had not responded to my frequent attempts to reach them regarding shipment--although two different "shipment dates" have past!! I'm VERY" disappointed!!...Update: a new "Estimated Delivery Date" is now listed as "May 26 to June 3, 2014." I would appreciate immediate confirmation that this M.C.S. Furniture-Luxury-Dresser (Order #VRC121-8277669) for which I have already paid, would arrive in good condition with NO further delay!! A tracking # would be helpful--if one is not sent, I must assume that this company is fraudulent and will be so reported.

Worst company I have ever worked with

I bought 2 beds from them that do not assemble correctly, have a broken leg, are collapsing in on themselves and are total junk- dangerous. Have spent months discussing this with them and they do nothing but waste my time, tell me they will send parts, make me take photos. I have asked to just return them and they tell me it will cost more to return them then to keep them. They act shocked and tell me they have never had any problems like this before. Total scammers. The beds are totally unusable and that is apparent from the photos I sent them but they do nothing. I have never felt so screwed in my life. Not sure what to do but right now I am out the money for my kids beds and need to purchase new ones.

HELP ME!

It seems this place is a total scam because like many of you I have not received my furniture yet they have already took the money out of my account. Have any of you been able to get reimbursed? If so, how??
thanks

Will never order from them again

Ordered a dresser, site said would arrive 3-4 weeks. Charged credit card right away. Never got ship date info. When I called (hard to get in touch with any live person) they sent an email estimating a ship date 7 weeks from purchase. That date passed W/o notification. I followed up, then got email pushing date back another 3 weeks. Followed up. When I became wary of shady practices and tried to cancel shipment and get refund, they said it had shipped. I checked with shipping company and they had not picked it up from manufacturer. IT HAD NOT SHIPPED contrary to their representations. Deceitful business practices, unreliable, poor customer service. I had to resort to dispute w/ my credit card company to reverse the charge. (I wouldn't buy from the manufacturer either -- Kush Furniture, as shipment was to come directly from them and never did)

Worst online experience my company has ever had

Go local, it won't hurt you wallet, your trust, or your sense of decency in the human race. Deceptive business. Inaccurate descriptions.
One Way means that you won't return the item if there is a dispute. You WILL pay for not only the return but also reimburse the original free shipping cost. You won't be able to return your order if it has been assembled (the only way to know if it was what they advertized). Don't do business with One Way you want consumer’s grief.

Unresponsive Customer Service: Where's My Desk?!

They have my $604!! They've had it for 9 days now, no update on shipping date (says estimated ship date was 4 days ago), no tracking number, nothing... submitted email since they have no real person to answer phone. Received an auto-generated email stating "they will get back to me". Ya. Ok. Right. Wish me more good luck with that. Cancelling today. Forget this [expletive!].

Worst online ordering experience ever!

Do not buy from OneWayFurniture! Our nightmare still continues with them! I ordered a desk for my daughter. Their ad said it was on sale with the hutch. When the shipment came, it was just the hutch. I asked for them to have a free return sent which they agreed to. They closed the issue and never sent a return. They kept offering me a discount on the matching desk and I finally agreed because they wouldn't take the hutch back. They said they'd charge me $71.00 for the desk but infact charged me the full price. To make matters worse, they sent a smaller desk and charged me for the bigger one. My daughter put it together not realizing it was the wrong one. So then we asked for just the refund on the hutch which doesn't match the wrong desk they sent. They are refusing to refund or collect the hutch. They lie every time we write them. Now they are saying we ordered the wrong hutch and it's our fault. Even though they show a person on the phone and a number for 24hr customer service, there isn't any person to talk to and they respond to your email only the next day!

They Sell Sub-Standard Merchandise and Offer Zero Customer Service

Bought a kitchen table from them for $400. One of those stone top ones where the stone pieces are cemented together. Well the cement has failed and the top has literally fallen apart after about 20 months. Contacted their Customer Service as was told that the warranty was past and I should consider buying a better quality table. Maybe, but I think dealing with a better quality company would work better!

Bad Experience

I received my order from One Way Furniture and did not like the coffee table and end table. I contacted the company to return it and was told I had to pay round trip shipping (thereby eliminating the free shipping) and a 15% restocking fee (100% satisfaction guaranteed, but it's going to cost you). I will never order anything from this company again.
